Greetings honourable elders I need information regarding driver's license. My Nigerian driver's license has expired, Can I use the temporary one that will be provided when I renew to register for driver's license in Toronto? Or what is process for registering for one if I don't want to start as a learner? Thanks. PS. I can also be directed to the page with the information. Couldn't find it anywhere. 2 Likes |

Hello house, please are there genuine agencies that recruits IT professional living in UK and want to move to work in a Canadian company? I have someone currently living in UK looking for a ui/ux position with a company in Canada that can sponsor his work permit. Thank you. |

muymacho:come with the expired one , temporary and driving history extract. Register at drivertest center close to you, take the cbt test G1, then G or G2 road test. Best to hire a driving instructor to train you. The driving we do in Nigeria is not driving. 7 Likes 1 Share |

gistbite:apply directly to many companies. You only need one to accept as many will typically reject applicants not in Canada. The work permit process and documentation can be long and cumbersome. Many companies dont have that time. For agencies I wouldn’t trust them as most are scammers or will do promise and fail. 4 Likes |

Hello People, I salute, please i need your advise. Any1 ever won a bid from SGI salvage cars in Regina. Won a 2007 Acura TL, what is "Require mechanical Inspection/not branded" Hail Damage, 305,706km. Estimate bill it says CAD5,719. Would I have to pay this aside from the money I bidded? |
Re: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant Part 2 by steroid: 11:17pm On Dec 01, 2021 |
Teau: Is it a run and drive?? You will need to carry out a mechanical inspection to determine the problem(s) on the car. The damage was caused by hailstorm. You are not going to pay that amount before taking the car but fixing the car will cost around that amount if it is repaired in Canada. |

Teau: Total loss means insurance wrote off the car. Not necessarily that the car is not functional. Usually hail damage is just cosmetic. Most times any mechanical damage will be caused by flooding. Because the hail will destroy the windscreen etc and car gets flooded. It's okay to buy a cosmetically damaged car and send to Nigeria, because panelbeating is effective and affordable. Panel beating here is expensive and if you keep driving the car with those dents it's going to rust in winter. If you don't want the car anymore, simply place it back up for auction at, the same place you bought it. You might make a loss but it's better than carrying bad market home. Also don't buy an auction car without going to look at it in real life and listen to the engine run. Anything auction in short. Shine your eye is the code. 11 Likes |
