Look man, first of all I appreciate your professionalism. You've gone this far without using any slur or breaking any gentleman code, I applaud that.

But you see, if you find problem with yourself you need to address it.

You stated authoritatively:

"With all his CV and profile, I will take Siasia over a white man without thinking. I will take others over him. A white man will never give us the kind of Work..."

Then I told you that the use of the term 'white man' is racist, because you're discriminating based on skin colour regardless of qualification.

But then you corrected me that you meant foreigners in general not white:

"I said we should cut the white men or... foreigners because it cost more, we hardly get thorough jobs from them, and with little to show for it."

But then I showed you Eddie Newton, a foreigner who is not white, and you immediately fell in love with me. This is a man who doesn't identify as African except for his Nigerian ancestry and skin colour. He is no different from Vierra or Rashford or Ashley Cole.

You did not contest his CV nor pay as you did the whites earlier on.

This shows your bias not towards foreigners but towards whites. That my good man, is racism.

Saying: no matter the qualification I will choose a black manager over a white manager,
is different from saying
I prefer an indigenous manager over a foreign manager.

This means if a white man who was born, raised and identifies as a Nigerian comes for the Super Eagles job, you will not endorse because of his skin colour.

That's racism, man. If you don't want foreigners it's understandable, I also do not, but saying you don't want whites is a capital crime.

I liked Bora but he cost a fortune. As soon as Bora took over, he picked some home based boys and trained them. Then called some foreign pros like Siasia and went for an invitational Tourney and did well with them.

When asked if Nigeria is scared of Spain, he said Spain should be scared of Nigeria. He was a good coach. Believed in us and was a grassroots guy.

However, he cost a fortune and could only stay short terms.

These are the reasons why I want indigenous coaches. We have been on this journey for long.

Mikel succeed zidane grin
Yes. If he had been groomed along the lines of his talents he'd have been a good midfielder as good as Zidane. He had the elegance and gracefulness Zidane had on the ball.

Mikel was never our typical African jam body player until he joined Chelsea

Mikel then was more like a zidane, modric and pirlo type of player. Even with his lanky frame he was very strong on the ball, glides pass opponents with ease, sweet first touch with killer passes

It was mourinho that turned him into a gbabuo ya type of player cheesy
Spot on. You know the player.

I did say without Zizzou's goals. I don't think Zidane showed the kind of potentials Mikel showed at 17 or the U20s. If he had like a Mancini, Pellegrini, Ranieri or even Klopp as coach, you would have been stunned at what he could have become. Mikel' vision is extraordinary. Just a coach who truly believed in him, maybe he would have been another african contender for the ballon d'or alongside Weah, Eto Fils and Yaya. Mikel wasn't the typical African agidi player. He was a ballet dancer, smooth, silky looks a bit languid but very strong on the ball, difficult to take the ball away from him. For me, his ability to pick out a pass and send out accurate defense unlocking passes was nothing else but a gift.
I think he was just too passive and docile, he no get ego like Yaya or small craze like Essien. I remember one video wey Onazi dey make fun of Mikel in dressing room cheesy, more like he was too soft, person need small craze for this life honestly. Most highly successful people dey get small craze and stubbornness, I think that was maybe what Mikel lacked. Just my opinion.
Ohhh you describe him to a tee. You bringing out the juices. Damn

Mikel belong to the class of players who don't dribble yet very sweet to the eyes. He just waltzes past you.

yes of course you are right to a certain extend but what brought mikel to lime light wasn’t even the u20 World Cup but 2003 u17 World Cup where Eguavoen was their coach.

I followed the team in the competition and even as young as I was then I singled out mike to be a star in the future. I remember in the competition he scored a goal against Costa Rica abi Chile

Then mikel was a shinning light in the 3 games the team only played in the group stage. Another player that was very good then was Emmanuel sarki. The chukwueze we rate high today wasn’t as half as good as sarki was then. Ogbuke, issac success and okoronkwo where other decent ones in the team but amongst all mikel stood out

Kola anubi if am correct paired mikel in midfield
Finland 2003 was the competition. Fabregas also played in the tourney.

A friend told me this story. Well we all know how when a new gem is unearthed word on the street is all about the new kid on the block. So it was with Mikel. His name was everywhere then. My friend said during that U-17 tourney, one of their neighbors was watching one of Nigeria's match. He began to complain: where the Mikel wey dem dey say sabi play. Where am, where am? See as all of them dey play yeye ball. Na only that number 10 dey play well.

Everybody now screamed at him: na Mikel be the number 10 nawww!
The man was like ehen, Kai the guy good.

Hype who you want to hype, leave others to hype theirs, stop setting up Nigeria players doing well against each other, they are all Nigerian players doing well, who would not like that?

So many grumpy people out here this day.. jeez.

Fantastic compilation, thanks man. I think his first goal for the Eagles enroute the 94 world cup was also extra special.

Thanks brother.

Nigeria vs Algeria. A freekick down the middle from about 25 yards. It was really close to making it but the quality of the footage and the fact there was a slight deflection made it my number 6. I would have loved to make it a top 10 but I couldn't find a couple of his goals.

It's almost the end of the week...
Rohr is still at the wheels grin

Based on Colin Udoh tonight, there's been no official statement to put Rohr on hold from his job. Rohr has even submitted a 40man list for Afcon.

I hear that lots of potential coaches have been calling through however.

The team is truly a much more huger brand that we are seeing it. Hopefully a sane choice is made. Hopefully.

For now, its Rohr executing Afcon.

Some opine that he might be sacked before then and his replacement will use the AfCON as experiment in view of how to setup for WC. I laughed at this. But anything is possible with NFF. They might think this way.
