These days, daytime news is different from night news. So if you want to get authentic news disregard morning dailies, wait for evening news.

A good federal auditor must have a very sound knowledge of how the federal public service operates. Without a good understanding of the entity to be audited, how do one even audit the entity?

An auditor that cannot different between a federal government circular issued for service wide implementation and an internal circular issued for information just within the MDA is a useless and incompetent auditor.

You are nit an auditor. You are an impostor on NL. You are lucky that we cannot get you physically. You would have been thoroughly dealt with. Opuro buruku! New year is almost here. You better repent.

Even People’s gazette that published the story knew quite well it was false but they need to mislead their audience just to push whatever agenda their paymasters want. It’s all bad politics and nothing else.

Everything is not politics brodah Mutairu. Newspapers need money, so they have to sell.

Lol. How do all these memo leaks? It shows how bad the civil service is. Police, FMC both having same issue and you are still denying the obvious grin

NOF and FMC Keffi are not the only agencies having budgetary problem. For a fact, I know CCB is also having the same problem and there are other MDAS as well. The problem usually manifest towards the end of the year so it’s not unusual.

When I called the report fake on the other thread, some folks attacked me thinking I just want to defend the government. The entire report was very senseless and illogical. Even if government cannot pay workers salaries, they won’t admit it not to talk of issuing circular to advice workers not to spend their November salaries.

The circulars in contention are internal circulars at a FMC and NPF. The two agencies very likely have exhausted their personnel budget. We have about 1000 Federal MDAs but the report was based on an internal circular issued by the heads of just two agencies with shortfall in their personnel budget.

All federal workers will receive their December salaries without any delay except those in agencies that have exhausted their budget. This is not a big deal if you are conversant with how federal government operates and it has nothing to do with shortage of funds/revenue. It is just a budgetary problem in the affected agencies.
You are very correct sir. Dr. S. A. Adegoke is the head of accounting at FMC keffi. Their staff have been notified of the shortage of funds since November.

We hope so, BUT

PDP FG performance with salaries same as APC ..

regards fuel scarcity APC exceptional, PDP fail
PDP and APC are not the same on the salary . PDP was borrowing to pay salary and many federal workers were not receiving their salary on time. We are been paying 75% of our salary in 2014 for a complete on year. There was a time we are been paying on rotation. ,I think 2011-2012. I'm talking on my office so I don't know what happened to other office.

pls what is d meaning of a budget? What is d difference between national budget and salary? if u say that "govt pays salaries from revenue generated", is "revenue generated" an item that is handled outside the budget? pls what is recurrent expenditure? what makes up recurrent expenditure? does it appear in a budget or is it an item picked up from d desk of the minister of finance? how is loan captured in a budget?
