Before you decide to dash the UK your hard earned £2,400 go and watch @Djjaramix on tiktok! He’s documenting his experience in the quarantine hotel. He strongly advices you spend your 10 days and money in another country that is not on the red list.
It’s really not worth giving these people your money. When they see Africans are smart and coming in through Dubai & Turkey, they will lift the ban. Patronising them is just making things worse. Imagine paying £240 per night! That money will pay for a 5 star hotel in Turkey and you will still have change sef.

they said the ban is temporary, and it will be reviewed on the 20th. We can only hope the review is favorable.

What I read is that the ban will be considered during the review week stating from 13th of Dec to 20th Dec.
outcome may be issued before the 20th Dec
