I did my biometrics ok the 6th of this month too and got the non straight forward message also , I wonder what might be the problem, and they didn’t ask for more documents
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Alexander13: 8:35pm On Dec 10, 2021
This is a really long wait, please did they ask for additional documents?
Also have you sent paid mail to them?

edictor2000:
I did biometrics on 12th November, received a non-straight email and still waiting. Paid for priority service.

Was it after the ban you travelled please I just want to confirm,I have dependents coming over but I am quite confused on these flights restrictions and I want them to use British Airways
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Alexander13: 9:56pm On Dec 10, 2021
I think its just visitor's visas that were paused, students visas aren't affected

Hello guys, I am reading that the UK red list will be reviewed next week. Do you guys think Nigeria will be taken off the red list before Christmas?

People are still using these scammers called agents whereby you can do it yourself with the help of gurus here on nairaland.

I believe they gave you wrong information. UK embassy are still treating student visa applications but standard visa application is paused for now.

No refund after biometrics

Ashirioluwa:

Turkish E-Visa is easy and simple to get for those who have Valid residence permit or visa from a Schengen country, the UK, US, or Ireland. Apply for the visa online. You get it within 24 hours in your email.

Nigerians who apply for an eVisa do not need to visit the Turkish Embassy. The process is 100% online.

Nigeria: Ordinary, official/service passport holders are required to have visa to enter Turkey. These passport holders with a valid Schengen members or USA, UK, Ireland visa or residence permit may get their single entry e-Visas valid for one month e-Visas via the website www.evisa.gov.tr, provided that they meet certain conditions.

Please would you need a return ticket?

Bobovn60:

Definitely yes if Turkey is your final destination. But if not then you can show your ticket from Istanbul to London in case you are flying to London after your short stay in Turkey.

They only want to see departure ticket from Turkey. This ticket could be to Nigeria or any other country.
