This is clearly to remind the north of how the Douthwest has stopped their own people to support Northern candidates so as to garner support for Tinubu and portray him as another loyalist and trusted partner like how Obasanjo is perceived by powerful norther interests. Politics you might say but….
This should have been deleted. Complete shame if I’m to be honest. You supported the same party at the end but chose a northerner against your own tribe. It be your own people. Then you turn around to accuse a southern president of marginalization without stating the truth. Then you remove a southern president to install a northern president.

A southern president who betrayed his backers and reneged on his promise to run only one term.
Rather than be honourable he rather destroyed his party. But it's all SW fault. I hope you kids grow up one day.

Jonathan tried to play a fast one but those guys were miles ahead of Jonathan.
Jonathan/pdp were in power, had the majority in the house, why would they need the permission of the opposition to present a yoruba speaker? What game were they playing?

You have chosen to ignore my statement, which is Chief Bisi Akande's statement.
That they- the Yoruba folks- obstructed and prevented their own kinsman from entering into the exalted position of Number 4 Man in the country.

It is very instructive. And your excuses are instructive. It appears that it isnt a case of "Yorubas hate themselves", but a case of a long-winded explanation from you.

Still typing rubbish. Lagos Ibadan railway was ongoing before Buhari came in, same as the express road. The Redline light rail is a state project and it doesn't need FG's approval. I wish you what you wish Mulika. You can't reasonably explain why Tambuwal was preferred to Mulika by her own people. If Mulika got that position, it would have been a win for the South-west. Your support for this evil betrayal is like that of an occultic man that sacrificed one of his children for ritual purposes in order to be rich.

Lies, Lagos Ibadan SGR was started in 2017, expressway was already abandoned as no provision was made in 2015 budget,
You really think Lagos will just enter NRC rail corridor and start building stations and tracks without approval, common you're smarter than that.

Mulika was useless to ACN agenda to destabilize PDP from SW first before going national.

Stop been dramatic, if Mulika needed Tinubu she knows where to find him. They die not kill her, their politics did not align that's all

You don't know this people at all.
I have a very close yoruba friend. He said he don't like tinubu and power should come to the south.
I said good, can you vote an Igbo or South South man. He said yes. I said if obi or Jonathan are contesting against osibanjo will he vote these men as against osibanjo. He said, but osibanjo is good na. I said okay, what if there is no osibanjo but its tinubu against obi or Jonathan, he started stuttering, his region first. He has to support him cos he is a yoruba man. This was a guy that said he hate tinubu.

This my dear is an average yoruba person for you.

They believe they are superior to other tribes in the south and therefore call the shots. Instead of aligning with others from the South even if their people, as long as igbo and south south will benefit, they will rather betray their own. They wil never love you except they are gaining from you. They easily toss you out once they have a better option.

That's why you tossed away Moghalu and Donald Duke to vote for Atiku. You're trying to be clever by half.
You want to play your politics and stop others from playing theirs

Why did you abandon your brother for a northerner?

Why did Ibo men plot against Moghalu an Ibo and gave 90% of their votes to Atiku a Fulani man?

What has running in 2015 got to do with what Pa Akande admitted to them doing in 2011? You and I were not part of any meeting where he agreed to run one term. Buhari also agreed to stop contesting if he didn’t win 2011 election.
You claim he destroyed his party but Pa Akande is telling you how they caused division within Pdp by supporting the northern candidate Tambuwal against Mulikat Akande or Munirah, the two Reps from Southwest Pdp had (all 3 from PDP). This msn claims they asked GEJ to let Apc produce the speaker as the reason, only a gullible non-entity will believe that crap. No where in the world a Minority party has produced speaker. PDP zoned the seat to Southwest, Southwest ACN leaders followed Gbaja to instruct and pressurize ACN Southwest Reps to vote a northern candidate Tambuwal instead of he southwestern candidates. What else did they want after clowning on a serious issue then turn around to accuse PDP and GEJ of marginalization of Southwest? The moment they started to conspire with Tambuwal, there must have been conditions given to him to support him and he knew he didn’t deserve the office because his own party had zoned it to another zone and the leaders of that zone were offering him the seat. The same Gbaja cried in 2015 when he wanted to become speaker but the northern candidate won, that northern candidate was backed by the same Tambuwal that ACN and Gbaja used to scatter PDP. You can imagine. Jonathan did not ask ACN leaders to choose the speaker from any 50 ACN members in the house, rather, he asked them to choose from PDP, so that PDP would use their powerful offices and positions to work against ACN in SW ahead of elections in 2015. Can you see Jonathan's sense?.. He thinks Tinubu & Pa Akande are fools.

Is ACN supposed to promote unity within PDP? Or what's all these nonsense.

You support PDP for playing their politics by attempting to weaken the regional party ACN by making a Speaker out of the few reps elected. But you chide ACN for playing it's own political advantage to block such a move. The insist it can only be an ACN member because it has happened before in Nigeria for minority party to produce the speaker.

But you, who is not part of any political strategy meeting have sympathy for PDP politics and insist ACN must not play politics or protect it's own interest . How can that be fair?

What is ACN business to respect how PDP zones it's people to public offices? Is there a rule they must respect it? Does PDP respect ACN or APC zoning plans?

Gbaja lost out in 2015 and is not crying till today, he tried again and got it in 2019. That's politics. I don't know any APC member still bellyaching over his loss in 2015.

He did nothing for SW, hence they are justified to look elsewhere for alliance. Maybe you can indicate the main thing he did in your state or region for the zealous support he got

Your big nose must have gotten even bigger (a-la Pinocchio) as you told this boldfaced lie! He ‘did nothing for the south-west’...i suppose as against your darling Buhari that did lots, yet the lives of the average Yoruba in said south-west were a lot better pre-2015 than is the case today!

I don’t have the numbers, but i would wager suicide, murder, kidnapping and misery have all increased in the south-west than was previously the case during the GEJ years! I’d further wager that Fasorantis’ daughter would probably still be alive today if Buhari has lost that 2015 election! Or do you wanna posit that the Yoruba as a people are faring better today because of Lagos-Ibadan railway and Osibanjo being vee-pee, as well as other token appointments!? Is that all what progress and dividends of good governance means to you....railway and a few crumbs of appointments!? I know Yoruba much older and wiser than you that have rightly called out Buhari for the nepotistic bigot and islamofacist he truly is!

Remember i asked you what GEJ did for the south-east over and above what he did for the south-west that prompted your ilk to label him ‘enemy no 1’ of NdiYoruba! The narrative you want out there is that he favoured the s-e over the s-w, so pray, tell us how!

I can tell you why Igbos supported GEJ in 2015 over Buhari. Ndigbo knew back then that Buhari is bad market and just wasn’t an option to be considered for replacing GEJ. But more importantly, Ndigbo were looking at the entire situation from a position of fairness towards a south-south candidate of Ijaw extraction, who rightly should expect the entire south to stand besides him in the face of the onslaught from the muslim core north that has had more than their fair share of holding on to power at the centre! We knew GEJ had done little or nothing for us when compared with what was done for other regions (esp’ the north-west), but like i said, there were other considerations to take into account over and above greed and lust for power! By supporting GEJ, we even hurt our chances of being next in line to produce the president after Yar Aduas’ 8 years were done! You can accuse Igbos of anything, but not being fair isn’t one of them!

I don’t think you ever personally Abacha, Buhari, Pa Bola Ige, Pa Akande and Sir Bola Tinubu and Sir Femi Gbaja so there’s nothing for us to drag here on this faceless forum.

To answer your question about ACN promoting unity within PDP, ACN can cause division within a party if that’s part of their strategy but telling lies to the public is not nation building which is the main task of principled politicians and men of integrity. The same people that wanted disunity in PDP by denying a SW representative the seat of Speaker came out to claim GEJ has no regard for SW.
You claim that by voting PDP SW candidate, it would have weakened ACN but they still voted a northerner, the truth is clear as day light as I stated before, it was all to forge alliance with powerful northern interests, you have not been able to say anything meaningful to counter very clear point but you have been rambling jumping about from 2011 to 2015 to 2019. The whole world knows how Pained ACN block was when Saraki and Dogara emerged in 2015, people like you need to justify your 30k while expecting an increase, I understand that.
You claim ACN was protecting its interest albeit selfishly which is same as what I had earlier stated before you started rambling before trying to fall in line.
ACN doesn’t have to respect PDP zoning but by actively playing a role to betray a zone in the full glare of the public then turn around to tell lies against GEJ who tried his best makes no sense. Tell me why SE was not given senate presidency when the majority party APN had earlier zoned it to SE but SE had no APC rep since it has happened before, school me on this.
Majority party means party with highest reps. Tell us when a minority party in the legislative arm of government produced the speaker or senate president and tell us how many legislators voted.

Jonathan/pdp were in power, had the majority in the house, why would they need the permission of the opposition to present a yoruba speaker? What game were they playing?
If Jonathan really wanted a yoruba man on that sit,he already had the number but he ran to opposition, for what exactly?
Was that not a dumb move, he asked acn to chose a speaker from pdp? doest that even make any sense to you

That big papa ajasco head (you need to see his picture) has nothing reasonable to say to you...all he and others got are just their regular baseless attacks and beating over the bush yen yen yen, empty rants.. grin

Deep inside their dark hearts, they are in severe pains and blaming the Akande for letting the cat out of the bag!!! grin

He wanted them to feel belonged, to carry them along. But he never knew he was dealing with serpents..
That was a bitter lesson he and everyone learnt: "never trust a yoruba man"

And how many pdp members did not work for govt under Abacha you hypocrite.
Hope you grow up kid in more wisdom and knowledge. You still lack a lot
@the bolded,go and find out how many south western states won by the PDP were won back, practically handled back to, by the respective states elections tribunals to the then ACN under GEJ immediately after the elections and come back and tell us how Gej wanted to weaken the regional ACN. Was that not one of the reasons Obj hated GEJ then? Or you think Gej couldn't have influenced the outcomes of those election tribunal results if he wanted to?
Just don't open ya mouth wide and rant bla bla bla in ignorance. Always endeavour to read books, read far and wide,it's good for your brains.. papa ajasco

Thought you were gonna say ‘sophisticated’! wink
They are so ignorant.
Jakande he mentioned was the one that leaked the secret of the coup Awo was planning against ibb govt to ibb.
While discussing,Awo made sure the briefing was filmed and each attendee has a copy of the film. Jakande took his copy and showed it to Ibb.
He took it to Ibb and played it out.

Ibb called Awo and told him to be ready for court Marshall or be imprisoned or go to exile as he considers him too old and popular to be jailed or executed.
Awo felt betrayed and commited suicide by drinking poison. Before that,he called his loyalists and asked them to present their individual film copy. Only Jakande couldn't present his!

Awo killed himself but placed a serious curse on Jakande that he will never be politically relevant till eternity.

Just Google "how Jakande betrayed Awolowo" and see for yourself.

Their betraying, back stabbing way of life is legendary,my guy!!!!
