Nobody gets close to jumpers....... Any step taken by d guy with the camera, would hasten his jump........... He couldn't have done any thing to save him anyways, cos the jumper's mind was already made up... Perhaps, you've seen this movie, "Man on the ledge".... It can only take a true genuine psychologist to talk the man out of jumping...... Reminding him of how he can still start all over, and that killing himself will only transfer the agony to his family.... And not ending it.... But for an average Nigerian, who must have come across the jumper by chance has no knowledge of what to do! He did the best thing to him, video!.... 1 Like |

thebosstrevor1: You can only save a life that's in an accidental danger, i mean a situation where the victim is fighting by all means to be rescued, and not suicidal as of the case we have here .... Painful he chose to end his life, all thanks to the videographer, how would we have known he committed suicide,. It would have just been a normal headline on the dailies, "corpse found on the lekki river"... Any step taken by the videographer will only hasten the jump, which could as well be dangerous to the rescuer |

Several factors may have led to his suicide. 1. Withdrawal syndrome from stopping drug or alcohol use suddenly 2. Debt and inability to meet his financial obligations 3. Untreated Progressive and degenerative mental illness due to hereditary, social, psychological or medical factors. 4. Spiritual attack That crap the baby mama said about his family not helping him is BS. We are all responsible for our lives once we clock 21years old! 2 Likes |

Smoking weed has nothing to do with his death. All these immature people when wan start family on nothing. Even the girl when never get sense dey mention he smokes AZ and not Colorado as if trying to put part of the blame on the poor smoke. They guy is a weakling and probably couldn't stand the pressures of life anymore. Dense Nairalanders like the ftc will quickly blame weed when they know nothing about smoking the good shid |

Calm down, you can't physically save someone in that situation, 1. Before you get to him he might jump and someone gonna say your action makes him jump 2. You are not qualified for that job 3. Your own life at risk You can only call the police. thebosstrevor1: |

This is why it is essential to be in a relationship with people that are sensitive and supportive. Dude is just 25. Jeez! We're agemates, although me i never born. With a low income, see wetin baba dey carry for head. 8 months pikin. Una know how much baba don spend? I'm sure the woman claiming to be his wife is just a baby mama, if she cared about him, he wouldn't have committed suicide. She bill the guy to death and afterwards sef kon dey lie sey im parents no support. Mtcheeew. |

Sorry for this happening to your husband. I personally wish it never happened. To thousands of young men out there starting life today. Life is a very long journey that you should attempt not to do it alone. Also avoid doing it without your parents and siblings if you have some. Don't allow shame and failure to distance you from people whom you know can be of help when you will need it. A man should develop a short list of people that can help you financially, economically, socially and so on. Help is what we must need sometimes. Remember that the great Davido tested the waters of friendship recently by calling for help just to know if people will come around him. You too need help someday. Another thing is, please learn to be of help to other people too despite your status. Everything is not monetary help. We all need some help somehow. Do you know that we often make money from helping others. Some people are willing to pay you for your helpful to them. Continue seeking ways to provide help to people around you for whatever service at a very small price. That is all we people do everyday. You will never walk alone. Best regards 1 Like |

The parents might have been disappointed that he got someone pregnant when he supposed to be assisting his siblings and parents .... RIP to the dead. 1 Like |

thebosstrevor1: Why the bashing of marijuana? Natural marijuana makes people calm ... not violent nor suicidal. He was a smoker ... but acted strangely of late. My guess is he changed his supplier and the new one spiked his weed with Angel Dust ... people always believe they can fly when under the influence of AD. For all we know .... maybe the guy got fed up with the traffic and decided to fly home . |

neoclassical:I concur that you made a very valid point partaining to early marriage when there's no reliable and steady means of economic sustainability. My personal opinion is that folks who are not from "Rich" homes, and do not have sustainable and stable means of lifelihood should hustle into their thirties before settling down as necessity domands, even if they don't make it big time. Yet another wasted life... 1 Like |
