Not according to latest IMF projection. Please invest in education. But you already gave up on CBC - outcome based education - after your lazy teachers protested.

Without serious education reform - Kenya will find you stuck btw 300-400B - like you have been for last 10 or 20yrs.

If my takes irks him and his likes so much then he should check his emotions, not here to massage ego, my fidelity is with facts and not their puerile rants. I believe which ever capacity we find ourselves in life, be it as an individual, organization or as a nation we should all be open to criticism, because it helps us to grow. Ghanaian on the other hands wants only praises and the moment you call out their flaws they get in their feelings and attack the messenger leaving out the message. And this makes me wonder if they would ever realise their potentials as a country ?

Yes you really need to grow that tough skin cos you are a special needs person.

Mind you, some messengers are more stupid than the message itself..

2 First Republic (1960–1966) - Kwame communist policies bankrupt Ghana and is kicked out by Military Coup - Imf invited to fix the country
3 Military rule (1966–1969)
4 Second Republic (1969–1972) - 3 yrs of attempted civilian rule.
5 Military rule (1972–1979)
6 Third Republic (1979–1981) - 3yrs of attempted civilian rule
7 Military rule (1981–1993) --- like Nigeria - Rawling won the election and continued his military rule.

Real democracy in Ghana started in 2002 to now...about 20yrs of sustained democratic rule.

This boy is foolish. grin For decades little India was synonymous with droughts and starvation. Up to 2019 there were still images of starving hordes coming out of Kenya. The last time we had such was in the 80s in Ethiopia.

While Nigeria has its shortcomings, at least it was known as a oil and gas major with a stake in the world economy with its position in OPEC. You on the other hand send to Europe products of little value like tea and flowers. grin

Nigeria was instrumental in bringing peace to warzones like Liberia and Sierra Leone, even reinstating toppled presidents, one in west Africa and another in central Africa. Apart from South Africa, some of Africa's largest companies are here. Nigeria has Africa's largest economy while yours has refused to hit the $100bn mark. Kenya is little known, except as a hunting ground for white people and for the biracial man, Obama. grin
True. Today there is a road named after Sani Abacha in Sierra Leone and ask any Sierra Leonian online, they would tell you they can never forget what the Former Nigerian dictator did against all odds even with pressure from the outside world on Nigeria not to interfere.
I think we missed the opportunity in Mali (in 2012) when the world looked unto us once again but we had an unstable Boko Haram situation then and so France ceased the opportunity. Since then the French have set up their bases all around us in West Africa.

I still blame Obasanjo partly for all these though. He sacked about 400 0f Nigeria's finest Generals in order to prevent a coup and to preserve democracy and we have paid the price dearly especially while having French countries like Niger and Chad as neighbours near our porous borders.

It was a way of understanding designed to signal a rather hard-nosed or realist approach to international politics. What made it reliable was its ability to generate law-like statements about the importance of the facts of physical geography, such as the distribution of landmass, the extent of the oceans, and the importance of particular, strategically located regions, in determining patterns of global political power

The answer is obvious. Unable to wiststand competition - you resort to hounding and frustrating kenya companies - and welcome the Kaburi (boer) from South Africa to rule you.

Kenya: The Unspoken Pain of Kenyan Companies in Tanzania
Although many Kenyan companies doing business with Tanzania may not publicly admit it, they are caught up in a cold war that threatens to freeze them out.

They accuse the neighbour of being averse to competition, and any sense of losing out results in arbitrary introduction of charges that ensure Kenyan products attract higher prices.

Tanzanian has banned some services offered by Kenyan firms and introduced trade barriers that favour local competitors while frustrating the latter.

It's the way you're saying it confidently. As if you're something.

How are we incapable yet we have the 4th most dynamic city in the world? Just recently, we commissioned the largest shipyard in sub-Saharan Africa, just second to Egypt - with no minerals.

Not long ago, we opened one of the largest ports in the continent - seated in the deepest sea. It will cater to all the landlocked countries within East and Central Africa.

How are we incapable yet we've managed to take care of people living in drought-infested areas? Where, animals and crops die because of a lack of water and food? - we're seated in 70% of arid area - with little to no mineral, but we've managed to control the situation.

Nairobi has now been ranked the best city to live and work in, in Africa. With no minerals, we can at least attest to the fact that Kenya is using the brain to achieve all these.

GTC is of its kind. No complex infrastructure in Africa can come close( save the iconic city in Egypt upon completion). Only developed cities have such iconic infrastructure. A small country with big moves.

The tallest apartment in Africa is now at 19fls, 1fl per week. Most luxurious apartment in Africa, where you can enjoy the tranquility and serene environment both in the NNP(game park, and the entire Nairobi view) - no minerals.

Kenya's economy has increased by 3folds in less than a decade. The projected growth rate as of 2021 is 6.0%, One of the highest in Africa.

A small country, yes. But not incapable. Just get your facts right, reduce emotions & ignorance, argue like a mature intelligent man, and you'll always enjoy the vibe. No one is here to demean your country, no one is here to talk sh"t out your country.

Absolutely. Give it 3yrs to break even the losses experienced during covid, then you'll start seeing an insane growth rate.

95% of the countries were affected by covid. recovery will determine where your economy will be in the near future. If your growth rate is low, then your economy, in general, will be stagnant or growing at an insignificant rate.
