I don't know why most people have accepted that data as accurate. I am not saying it isn't as I have not checked it. However, a lot of his numbers are also padded by his national team goals against footballing minnows. Messi outscored him in the other competitions more times than otherwise. Never mind the fact that CR7 played more games in total in most of those seasons. Granted, CR7 has been a revolution in the UCL for many seasons.
