You are talking as if we were not watching Hazard skip past 3-4 players per dribble recently before injury marred his career.
Some players are just exceptional no matter the era. Whatever era they find themselves, players like Maradona, R9, Messi will eat good.

Messi will not have the success he had in La Liga in the EPL different type of football.

CR7 is more adaptable to the SE but Messi is not .

What's the VISION? What's the PLAN? How do they see the Nigerian national team 10-20 years from now.

In terms of scouting and identifying talented youngsters we still rely on mushroom academies here and there when in truth it's the clubs who ought to be doing bulk of the work.

In times past clubs like Rangers, Shooting Stars, Bendel Insurance had some of the best Nigerian talent where are they?

Governors who control these NPFL clubs either don't care or would rather focus on inanities like going to take picture with Real Madrid president WTF!

Truth is our football system won't change as long as Politicians continue to use football administrative positions as rewards of political patronage. An APC or PDP member has a better chance of getting named sports minister or NFF Chairman than you, Goodjoe, Andrew or anybody else who has sincere passion for Nigerian football.

komekn:

The question is what is the NFF doing to address the problem ,what's the long term plan.

Our local football is in shambles compared to years when our local teams had dominance both local and international. They were the main recruitment ground initially for the larger bulk of SE.

Because to me are football is regressing, look at where our players are playing that have come out of the Nigerian system. And that tell us something.

CR7 is more adaptable to the SE but Messi is not .

The only reason messi will not have the success he had at Barca at the epl is because no epl club was ever better than prime Barca

Messi scoring 27 goals against epl big 6 in 35 appearance should tell you alot .

He had a fractured eye socket and cheek bone.

This is not just a simple bruise.

There is a need for physical recovery, then mental and then he has to get match fit.

He would have been told to take it easy on those aggressive and sometimes reckless do or die challenges.

However, this is intrinsic to his game AGGRESSION is his DNA , he may have to find another way to express himself.

Its not just about a medical diagnosis that says his bones are healed. If that fracture had healed so well.

WHY ON EARTH IS HE WEARING A PROTECTIVE MASK❓❓ fashion

He is not the only striker in the SE and furthermore he is not necessarily the best in the HERE and NOW.

The most in form striker as it stands, as we speak are Awoniyi and Dennis that's the fact of the matter.

Many here will not like that.
here and now kill you there, you mean we should bench our top scorer during both Afcon and WCQ for Dennis and Awo? You go do well as coach

Saw the highlight on the bucks page this morning grin . . Let's hope coach Bud won't restrict his minutes when the core of the bucks team return from injury...
Covid-19 has given the core of the D'tigers team more minutes this season and they really making good use of it.. Achiuwa, Metu, Vincent and Okpala are balling too...

He has been getting good minutes this season. Tbh he is in the perfect situation. His teammates love him and the coaching staff believe in him. Jrue Holiday called him his favourite player. When Giannis returns his playing time will reduce but he will still have opportunities to contribute big time. He just needs to keep improving on his toughness because on the offensive he has almost every tool there is to have.

Meanwhile, the ministry of sports have said that the super eagles will camp at Abuja not Uyo has earlier reported...

Still no info on camping date and possible friendlies....
I’m convinced the NFF and ministry don’t want us to do well at the Afcon. Our first game is barely 3 weeks away but no players list, training date and preparatory games.

The injury was bad sha something that completely fractured the left side of his face is not beans. That said for him to have declared himself available for the AFCON means the Napoli doctors have given him the all clear. Anyway Eguavoen has said it's Napoli that will give the final green light.

I actually do not know Osimhen or have ever met him.

But looking at the little we can see of his personality, he is singularly ambitious and stubborn that requires a good degree of not taking advice.

Napoli will have to be insist, otherwise he will even play without mask if the decision was entirely his. His declaration will have come from himself not the doctors.

Jordan is the monster machine of our basketball team he literally carried the team on his back during the Olympics wish we had two of him in that team we would have made it far as we kept on loosing games in the 4th quarter after Jordan is exhausted because he always push him self to the limit and get tired by 3rd quarter I remember when he did a 3 pointer consistently in a match at the Olympics even the commentators where wowed and kept on saying the ball should be passed to him for another 3 wink

He will be an NBA Allstar before it is said and done. I love the boy's heart.

Heard he knocked down 28 points in the game before this one. You can't be under the leadership of an absolute beast like Giannis and not improve. Nwora should continue to keep his head down and work hard to be one of the best.

U have hit the nail on the head. Reminds me of Sir Charles Barkley talking about the role Moses Malone and co had on his career. When u are around the best at something there is no way things don't rub off on you. Plus Giannis loves his African brothers and I am sure he is going the extra mile to be there for him.

Plus he has the new MJ Kris Middleton, clamp god Jrue Holiday and even Boogie Cousins who are former all stars to guide him. The boy is going to be tough when he leaves the Bucks.

Na I disagree Osimhen is stubborn yes but he's also a professional. Anything he says his club will absolutely be in the know.

Notice he only made the declaration soon after his protective masked arrived.

For me it's not a do or die matter for him to play at this AFCON. His health and wellbeing always comes first, however it's not a strange thing to play with a mask. Just last season Rudiger wore a mask. Many years back after Cech suffered that horrendous head injury that we thought he would be out for the season he showed up barely few months later wearing a protective head covering so it's not unusual.

I'm cool waiting for what the Napoli and SE doctors say reqarding Osimhen's participation at the afcon.

Ndidi was monstrous the whole match, just a lack of concentration in the final minutes overall he was still man of the match for Leicester

Cos that's what i noticed throughout their equalizer goals. Either he was far off or not noticing his man.

Anyways that's a nice one. Rodgers bottling this shocked me. Or the players are just a mess.

He should lead us after the nations cup.
If he leads us now, he will not succeed as he simply does not know our players or best position.
Let us see what Eguavon can do before running after another foreign coach.

Secondly, the contract must be examined by lawyers and the sports ministry so it is not another Rohr.
It should be a one year contract.
I dont trust these foreign coaches. The will simply flatter to deceive.
Let Eguavon do whatever he likes. After the nations cup, he can now take over.
