The biggest security threat to the populace in this country is the Nigerian police. it is more evil than armed robbers and kidnappers combined. There are backed by the authorities to commit crime. I travelled from Lagos to Benin in a Hiace bus and i felt pity for the driver, he was carrying goods. A corrupt society will still be the one to suffer for the decadence Nigerians being enlisted into the police and other forces are individuals already ingrained with the seed of evil and corruption Those who are not in the police but in civil service, judiciary, ministries, mda, even to the market traders are not in any way better as they engage in heinous acts at their strata Our society became one where armed robbers, ritualists, thieves, cheats and dupes has all metamorphosise into yahoo boys and generally looked on by the society as a lesser evil The evil and criminal acts from Nigerian citizens yet to befall this nation is something no one wants to imagine even as the society has already sink into decadence Thus the police becomes made up of inclined individuals who see being empowered with uniform and gun as opportunity to be the worst version of themselves instead of a behaving to better the already bad society |

Wish to know on what side of the endSARS movement he/they, the victims were. Then I can make a concise response. Because we said it then and repeated it several times over. That is was a great opportunity but sorely missed to move our nation forward via the instrument of a proper law enforcement culture. That a half dose of reforms was akin to taking an incomplete dose of anti-bacterial, anti viral drug therapies. The consequence being a hardening of the disease of police malpractice. Here we are. |
