Glad Rohr is gone. The man doesn’t have anymore to offer the team
Good we’d experience something new

Yeah the Ikom bridge but I'm not sure how good the roads are in Cameroon.

that road is one of the best in West Africa. From Ikom ( cross river state ) to the border at Ekok, going through Mamfe, Bamenda to yaounde, the road is tarred. The only problem is that the Super Eagles will be playing in Garoua ( Northern Cameroon ) ,and it is very far from yaounde. Around 16hrs drive

It is just Pinnick's unserious attitude at play.. I don't see why the super eagles job can't be thrown open and interested applicants should be interviewed.. Pinnick went to consult Mourinho.. That was how he went to consult Wenger for who recommended Rohr to him..

NFF already announced Air Peace will airlift the SE to their base in Cameroon

humility33:

Is that we can't afford plane fees to take this players to Cameroon Or the Peace airline deal is no longer existent I don't understand why risk the lives of the players or make them travel for hours to Cameroon via road ?

I told u the Pinnick apologists cooked up the story to put the Dare led sport ministry in bad light as the reason why the NFF want them in awka Ibom instead of abuja... there is no such plans by the NFF to take them to Cameroon via road

Eguavoen has been stopped by CAF from adding to the 37 provisional list Rohr submitted to CAF for AFCON. He can only replace anyone who is injured

Why submit 37 provisional list when you were required to submit 40?

They are deliberately blocking some players from the national team as if na dem get am.

This is why I think the National team has become corruption ground for my brother arrangee something.

Are they telling me we don’t have up-to 40 players or what?

What's even the use of a 40 man list?
The tournament is in 2 weeks time...

Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen.
Sequel to my post yesterday where I expressed my intention to take over the responsibility of organising the annual Nairaland Nigeria Football award as requested by Icon4s this year, I'm glad to announce that the award would go ahead as planned, and I'll be coordinating it with Drklever.

Three people from this thread will join the nomination committee alongside me and Drklever, with icon4s being a honorary member.

On this note, members of the thread are to nominate 3 monikers they wish to be part of the committee. Unlike how it was previously done where we would nominate only one moniker, I suggest we nominate 3 each so as to make it more flexible and have more people nominated.
Here's how the nomination selection will be sorted;
3 points would be awarded to the first name nominated, 2 points to the second and 1 point to the last.
Example: I nominate Danielnino00, Drklever and icon4s. in this case, Danielnino00 will have 3 nomination point, Drklever will have 2 and icon4s will have 1.
At the close of the nomination process, the 3 monikers with the most points will be added to the committee. Any moniker that's selected to the committee but doesn't wish to participate for any reason whatsoever will be replaced by the another one from below the top 4.
Nomination starts now and close on Monday, December 27th 2021.

Thank you.

I nominate Komekn, IDENNA and zuchyblink

He says people like El phenomeno will find it hard to break down defences. I would have agreed if we currently do not have attackers posting double digits goals in a season.

The discussion is about skipping past players with ease. It is easier to even score now due to high fluidity of play and use of space.

However, it is far difficult to fall deep, pick the ball and skip past players to get to the end of the field and cross. They way Pius Ikedia used to do.

Olisa Ndah has been great this season in S/Africa. Hopefully we don't regret this invite.

That attack line is bomb personified. Lethal if well executed

CAF didn't request for a 40 man list... They said countries can name a 40 man provisional sqaud... Most countries just submitted their final list... 2 weeks camping is too short to observe 40 players...Best to cut down to the final list..
