No surprises here except for Nwakali's call up but since we are short of quality midfielders in europe then I guess he can have a pass.
I do think the number of central strikers is a bit overkill since Osimhen would play most minutes throughout the tourney (if declared fit) hence; Awoniyi, Ighalo, Sadiq and Iheanacho will be warming the bench a lot.

Would have dropped one of the aforementioned strikers for another CM/AM and maybe dropped one of Olisa/Shehu/Omeruo for a proper right-back in the mould of Ebuehi.

All the same, the Coach/Technical crew knows best. The squad is good enough for another semi-final showing or even going as far as clinching the main thing...

The discussion is about skipping past players with ease. It is easier to even score now due to high fluidity of play and use of space.

However, it is far difficult to fall deep, pick the ball and skip past players to get to the end of the field and cross. They way Pius Ikedia used to do.

Just read it online. I've modified the comment. The Slot shouldn't be wasted on Goal keeper.

It is not as easy as before. Pius Ikedia used to do it three to four times in a match. It was easy for the likes of Overmars. Ronald de Boer will soon three defenders and wait for them to do it again.

Who should be our number one? Maduka seems to be having a good season but he's sometimes shaky. I haven't seen the Eyimba goalkeeper in action.

this isn’t true. For all ikedia’s pace he was a poor player whose career never really took off. Overmars no dey run length of field. Are you saying defender’s then used to ball watch?

Attack is about the strongest we have at the moment no issues.

Midfield still threadbare but decent. Personally don't support Nwakili's inclusion but we don't have any clear good options. So his inclusion is more of a throw of the dice/inshallah gamble for me.
