I wonder if you said this same thing when Okoye was called up from the German fourth division while posting mediocre numbers... Look at him now .. potentially our first choice at the AFCON.
Nwakali is playing a role where we are lacking options.. If he was a striker or defender,he won't be called up... But he is a midfielder that can dictate play...we need him
Just like how Rohr called Okoye from the German fourth division when we were in need of goalkeepers and Collins from the German second division when we were in need of left backs, let's see what nwakali can offer...it's a fair situation..

Do you understand my context?

I hammered on his personality and drive, not where he plays or the circumstances surrounding his play. He is not persistent. We have been dragging him for years with nothing to show for it. He lacks personal hungar and his inclusion is down to Kano Nwankwo. Simple.

The players of then also didn't have the protection the modern ones have now. When defenders will be tackling you anyhow from the back, side and front. Maradona that suffered a leg break and still recovered to lead Argentina to WC glory. If anyone should as much as breath on Messi he will be sent off.

There isn't any current player that has wowed me with any piece of skill that I haven't seen before. Was watching Van Basten at the 88 Euros on youtube the other day. Men forget the man was a confirmed baller but alas injuries.

TheGoodJoe:

You can not say the skill rate of the players of the past are miles ahead of the current set because they did not deal with the kind of intensity we are seeing in football today. Now almost all teams are serious with nutrition, fitness, tactics etc. It is more difficult now.

So those guys could be sublime then but it will not be that easy today.

Calm down..Bassey hasn't even played yet for us to assess if he can fit in... He was invited for just one window.. His exclusion is not bad...I believe Zaidu and Aina are enough to do the job..
And by the way, who would he dump us for? Italy or England?
He will get his chances soon enough...
Help me ask am Ooo ,weda Na england or Italy squad e go make

Lookman's and Ejaria's exclusions pain me. Are Akppguma, Bassey, Ebuehi, Dessers injured or what? I pray these guys do not change their minds over Nigeria

Who told you they dropped Ebuehi for Collins ?

Collins have been making the team with ebuehi ,so why do you have to conclude that he was dropped because of Ebuehi ?

Ebuehi has been battling injuries that why he hasn’t been on the team ,if someone is to be dropped for Ebuehi it should be shehu abdulahi

Oga my point is that Collins should not be in that list and Ebuehi is not. Collins got favoured by Rohr because he plays in Germany. Simple.

Repeat that to yourself and see if it makes sense
that's why I said is the rumours.

For Rohr to be making plans about camping means he must have had his list available and until we see the 40 man list, it will still be speculation

There is nothing wrong if a coach believes in a player and wants to look into sorting the challenges he is having. Especially, if the coach believes the player can serve as a valuable asset to the team.

They have always looked into him. Rohr also looked into him. They should keep looking into him; and I hope they find gold.

Is Shehu the only Moslem we have in Nigeria who plays football? So they couldn't see another northern Moslem to replace him with?

They had to waste that spot.

Make we mistake qualify for world cup make I see Shehu there. I will arrange to steal his phone and release Pinnick's nude myself— make we for rest.

What the hell

Eguavoen mentioned something like players who can play multiple roles having a place in his team. That's where Shehu fits in. He can play as both RWB and Defensive midfielder. Rohr also invited him because of same reason

any pacy player can do it but realistically it doesn’t even make sense to be running with the ball all the time defenders will figure you out in no time
Personally I don't fancy those kind of wingers as I find them unintelligent. I never liked Ikedia. I like wingers like Finidi and Figo.
In modern football I like Salah

If you are looking for players that lack personal hunger and other characters you listed, there's enough of them in the sqaud.. Iheanacho and Iwobi are perfect examples of that..

You know it makes no sense to say that Bassey was not included in the 40 man list that's why you are deflecting, show me your 40 man list I am waiting!
And you think it makes sense to say Bassey would have made the final list of a local coach isn't in charge when he was literally invited for one international window, sang some songs and went back to Rangers... Interestingly it was during the period that he became more regular at Rangers that he was dropped by the same Rohr for the last group games...

This rubbish is why Eze has refused to play for us after hitting camp. You get a player like Bassey rising in leaps, and you're playing politics with him. Instead of including him in the team to study and perhaps get a chance. You are saying his time will come. This is why we always lose good players.

Seal him first and let him have no other option. Then he can then wait for his time. As with women, get these guys while they're young. Is that too hard to understand.

That’s true ,EZE dumped us for England and he is doing so well for them ,he was very impressive at the last euros that he even had more game time than 100 million rated grealish

We are not here to play Rugby and bully. I argue with facts and not sentiments.

Please, tell me how Collins deserves to be there ahead of Ebuehi What are the criteria? You're the one being sentimental here.

I fight for Ebuehi and other ill-treated players by Rohr because I believe they deserve better. Collins is no where near Aina and Ebuehi. He was sentimentally favoured by Rohr doesn't make him better.

Bassey now plays as a CB for Rnagers by the way. And he's very SOLID. That's Why i'm curious about his exclusion. And please don't mention Sanusi in my ears. I nor like nonsense. I'm just vexing here.

Ebuehi is the best at that position. I love Aina and Awaziem, but you see that Slim light skin guy—he was trained for that role.. Why can't our coaches see this. Go see that friendly against Argentina and see how magnificent this guy is with the attack and defense.

I think you are even more clueless than rohr
