Amotolongbo: Ighalo is a mercenary. He's a good striker that just seems to dislike competitive leagues (just like Asamoah Gyan was) probably because he doesn't want the stress and just wants his money. He could have had a much stellar career but he always chose the easier way out. The fact that he is interested in this Newcastle deal (as well as him agreeing to the Man Utd previously) may mean that a part of him still hungers for a bit of glory... Not necessarily titles, but to be a cult hero at a big club. 1 Like

lexy2014:I'm glad you recognized the list now it will be easier for you to understand the class that Ighalo belong.... I guess you are not a lover of football that's why you are not familiar with the adjective world-class and average used in describing footballers level of performance. WORLD CLASS PLAYERS A world class player is somebody, who can win games himself. This is something which is mostly applied for strikers, but defenders are capable of doing this as well. A world class footballer fits into any team no matter the way they play, he's flexible and adaptable. AVERAGE CLASS PLAYERS Average class players do not occasionally change the outcome of a match on the big stages. These players are good at what they do, but cannot in any way be compared to the world class |

floss: I don't recognize your list because I didn't ask u for a list. Going by your definitions, what category would u put the following players: Alexis Sanchez, angel di maria, Eden hazard? Where do Messi and Sergio Ramos fit into your classifications? |
Re: EPL: Odion Ighalo To Join Manchester Utd’s Rivals, Newcastle by floss(m): 10:24pm On Dec 25, 2021 |
lexy2014: Now you're going back to the list, I thought you don't understand initially or deliberately playing dumb.... All these people you mentioned are all world class players if you are to go by my definition. Even if one or two might have dropped in form. But that doesn't make them less a world class player because they can actually influence the outcome of any game. 1 Like |

floss: Apart from Messi, who else did I mention that is on your list? So if u say Messi, Sanchez, Ramos, DiMaria and Harzard are all "world class players", which games have they won for their present clubs and how have they fitted and adapted in their present clubs? When DiMaria moved from real Madrid to Manchester united, how many games did he win for Manchester and was he flexible and adaptable to Manchester united? |
Re: EPL: Odion Ighalo To Join Manchester Utd’s Rivals, Newcastle by floss(m): 12:12am On Dec 26, 2021 |
lexy2014: Are you going forward or backward? A world class will always be a world class the worst that can happen is drop in form e.g reduction in goal tallies but it doesn't mean their presence doesn't influence games, you're talking of Di Maria flopping in Man United compared to Real Madrid, now what will you say about Messi's current form in PSG? Didn't it drop compared to Messi we all saw in Barcelona does his performance in PSG make him less a world class? = No, he's still a world class even the best alongside Ronaldo. World class players are not only attackers, we have world class goalkeepers, world class defenders, world class midfielders etc but I noticed that you didn't read in order to understand my definition because if you did you won't be saying that you just said. My advice is this; Please use your phone or PC and go to Google and search for the meaning of world class players in football, also compare it with Average class players in football. Then check the type of players you will find in both, I believe Google will explain better for you to understand. I'm done trying to prove to you that Ighalo is an average player if not even below average. Or you feel Ighalo is close to Harry Kane? Or Benzema?.... he's not close, Ighalo is in the same class with Martial. Even Salah is greater than Ighalo in terms of class because Sallah is a world class player but Ighalo is not even close.... Just use your Google.. merry Christmas 1 Like |

Jidemoo: Ighalo is seeking chances to revive his career like eto did at Chelsea, tores, lukaku and many others that had drops in the middle of their careers. Money alone isn’t the consideration here yet. 1 Like |

Re: EPL: Odion Ighalo To Join Manchester Utd’s Rivals, Newcastle by floss(m): 8:47am On Dec 26, 2021 |
lexy2014: So because the players you mentioned didn't fit in one time or the other in a particular club it now means they're not world class.... maybe you do the talking now probably I'm the one getting it wrong, I want to hear from you starting with your view on the question you asked, I want to know... the floor is all yours. |

lexy2014: If you are scared of dropping your opinion I guess you have no point to make, one of the good side to intelligent arguments is that opinions are thrown open and visible for everyone to see but now you're hiding behind your question when you don't even have an opinion. I can't say this is what your point of view is exactly because a question is not complete without a claim (opinion). So since you want to continue asking, no problem I can't answer you without you stating your opinion. |

lexy2014:Your opinion or you drop the question. Your opinion will make me narrow down your question to the lowest minimum in order for you to understand. I have all 3 answers to them but I need your opinion. That's not too difficult or better still you can come up with an excuse " I have no opinion" so that I can gladly give you the answer you are craving for. 1 Like |

floss: It seems the questions I asked are too difficult for u to answer. Let me make it easy for u. According to u: WORLD CLASS PLAYERS A world class player is somebody, who can win games himself. These players are good at what they do, but cannot in any way be compared to the world class If u say that Alexis Sanchez, Eden Hazard, Angel DiMaria, Sergio Ramos and Lionel Messi are all "world class players", how have they in their present clubs fulfilled the conditions u listed above to qualify to be called "world class players"? |
Re: EPL: Odion Ighalo To Join Manchester Utd’s Rivals, Newcastle by lexy2014: 10:23am On Dec 26, 2021 |
floss: Am surprised that u are scared of answering the questions which are based on your time tested definitions. Did u need my opinion before u defined "world class players" and "average players"? I don't think so. Meanwhile, So if u say Messi, Sanchez, Ramos, DiMaria and Harzard are all "world class players", which games have they won for their present clubs and how have they fitted and adapted in their present clubs? When DiMaria moved from real Madrid to Manchester united, how many games did he win for Manchester and was he flexible and adaptable to Manchester united? |
Re: EPL: Odion Ighalo To Join Manchester Utd’s Rivals, Newcastle by floss(m): 10:39am On Dec 26, 2021 |
lexy2014:You have no point here, at least you saw my opinion, since you have no point to make you can keep asking the same questions. You're not out to learn, you're not out to tutor since you appear to know how to generate a question. So where exactly do you stand in all these? Rather you are just asking the same questions you know doesn't justify or be used as a claim. I'm not against learning from others if it warrants that... I have been open enough to let you know my stand on where Ighalo stands in all of these but right from the start you have been playing defensive by asking one question after another. Keep on asking If you are here to argue drop your opinion, if you're here to tutor the floor is yours and if you're here to learn I will teach you little I know...but I don't think you're here for any of that I just mentioned. So continue asking your questions; So if u say Messi, Sanchez, Ramos, DiMaria and Harzard are all "world class players", which games have they won for their present clubs and how have they fitted and adapted in their present clubs? When DiMaria moved from real Madrid to Manchester united, how many games did he win for Manchester and was he flexible and adaptable to Manchester united? |
