Dembélé's friends were surprised with the player's wedding. They didn't even know he had a girlfriend in the first place.

Dembele such a mysterious guy. Hopefully he wasn't late. grin grin

You know there's this common notion from where I come from that one way to get an unserious man to start shouldering responsibilities is to get him married.

Maybe, just maybe, the same is what Dembouz is tryna do

You know as pooy as Stegen is right now, I still feel they should give him time till the end of the season, if he continues his shit, neto can take over, cause let's face it which quality GK is available for a decent fee now? Gigi has gone to psg, onana would only be available in the summer and looks headed for inter, Bilbao won't sell unai Simon to us and I still have my reservations about him, I saw something about one dimistrievski and I jess weak, Let's see though

As much as the super league would bring income, would it not be Perez who would have still benefited the most? Person wey carry the idea come, asked JP Morgan for the funding and would still be the first chairman, We sha remember how he tricked Figo to swap Barca for Madrid, That's why when Barca elections were coming up, I silently prayed Laporta would win ahead of any greenhorn, He might be a talkative alright but that man is also ambitious and cunning, (Politician cum lawyer), and can at least measure up to Perez

As e be me like this, I honestly would like to give Samuel another chance, but with a very reduced wage. Then, you see that attack... Omoh, I am a sucker for "if they score 2, we score 6" kinda team but the problem is if we can gel in the right person that'd make other teams tremble from going upfront.

Bro the only two current players that can do that for us since the GOAT is gone are either mbappe or haaland and we are not going to get either of them, it's better we pursue all this high earning deadwoods which is super hard, clear up space in the wage bill and sign a CB, The high wage bill is our major hindrance, Then when summer comes we chase a proper 9 and pursue pique, Alba and busquets, We gats build a goddamn wall since Stegen no wan get sense, Thankfully half of it is available
As for umtiti, he rejected taking a pay cut after rejecting to leave, So don't just disturb yourself there, Laporta might get fed up and terminate his contract which won't be good, Bros even cost us points in his first and only game against osasuna

a "superleague" would happen wether you want it or not.

It's either clubs come together to form the superleague OR EPL becomes the superleague and it's a pity laliga fans can't see what's happening right before their eyes. Raphinha left Rennes who are to play in UEFA champions League for a Leeds United who just came from relegation. Rodrigo Moreno left Valencia who usually finish high in laliga to a Leeds who just came from relegation
Boubakary Soumaré left Lille who has just won the French league against all odds and had automatically qualified for UCL for a Leicester City who are to play in Europa League

Perez has seen the future which is why he tried to stem the tide by creating the superleague which would enable many other clubs from other countries to have the power England is about to have.
It doesn't sound bad right now cuz it's Rennes, Lille, Leipzig, the whole of Netherlands, Laliga clubs asides ATM, Barca, Real, All bundesliga clubs asides Bayern etc that are selling all their good players to relegation tier EPL clubs but the future will change that. as EPL TV rights gets more and more bigger and they have more and more monies to spend you'd soon get to a point where the best Barcelona player would leave the club to sign for a team that just gained promotion to EPL, suddenly Real Madrid joins the list, Bayern does too. then there would be no reason for neutrals to pay attention to other leagues as they would be like feeder leagues to the England "Superleague". all leagues would then be a stepping stone to get to EPL and that's when what Perez has been talking about would make sense to many. he might not be in that seat by then. he might even be dead but I'm pretty certain he'd be proven right

I like this. This is strange, coming from a Real Madrid fan. It is sad that most Madrid fans here can't engage in simple, serious conversation. Most only know about trolling and trolling, and dropping meme for every line of sentence they manage to construct. angry shocked

Coming back to your discussion, do you think Super League can happen without the EPL teams? I don't think it can. Remember they all quickly withdrew when Perez floated the league. EPL don't need the Super League. EPL TV right deals for 2022-2025 stands at £4.8bn, more than 3 times Laliga is going to make for same period. Aston Villa finished 17th in the league 2019/2020 season but still earned a mammoth £106.1m from the TV deals. Liverpool won the Premier league and earned £174.6m. In that same season, Valencia was the 4th largest earner in Laliga yet earned 82.2 million euros.

This just reinforces your points. cool

But from my opinion, super league cannot happen without the premier league clubs. Bayern and PSG are not even part of it. So you're left with only Spanish and Italians.

The league should become more innovative and find ways to raise the money they needed to attract big talents and compete with the premier league. Maybe clubs like Barca should start looking at how to move away from Supporter's ownership base. Look for investors that can bring in the money, otherwise the likes of Aston villa will come and take away Ansu Fati and other stars.

I can't explain it, but I know that England is just more glamorous than Spain and this really affects the leagues.

No matter the investment innovations, England will always attract bigger investment deals.

Something unconventional must be done to inject attraction and sponsorship deals into LaLiga.

I really don't believe that. Those two you mentioned are great, but they had their breakout which I think others would also do. Besides, if Fati can come in strong and manage injuries, then I think he might be gunning for that too.

I am not against the Super League, but I believe it's not time yet. Yes, Laliga needs a more glamorous event to throw it into the same limelight as the EPL, but that should affect the whole league and not only the big shots. The moment that " segregation" comes to play, then it's clear money is the only motive here and not a way to increase competitiveness.
