No he learnt from the man at army gate, but nah kazeem, so I do try and identify the issue first before I tell him what to work on.

But take your car to opposite army gate, but if you're not satisfied with him, you can visit pamtech Owerri by hospital road.

Just go there opposite army gate

I've checked the fuses in the front and the one beside the steering, still the same thing... no burnt fuses cos everything is intact... I was advised to get another complete brain box that comes with key. Cos one leg of my own car brain box is broken and it's interfairing with it.

Check the big fuse ON the SAM... Touch it as if you are pressing it in... Check if its burn...

Also check the fuses by the Electronic module beside the steering.

Its a fuse issues... I use same car and exprience this sometime. Eventually, the key sucks in and turns

So guys, I saw this w202 C280 that originally came with a 4-speed automatic gearbox (according to VIN check) but now the engine has been swapped with a 4cyl engine (I think that of a c180) and 5-speed automatic gearbox also installed. Seems another ECU was installed (constructed) as the original wearing of the ECU is there dangling in the hood. This car can be cruising at 100-120km/h and the rpm will be resting just somewhere around 1200-1500. Now my question is, does this imply a better gas mileage?

ECU was piggy banked.

For that rpm range, fuel economy will be good (assuming the tachometer readout is accurate) and all other fuel trim monitors and adjusters are intact and working as should.

Isnt it better to sell off the C280 and get a C180 or C200 or C220?

But for whatever reason, it's truly a wasteful and stupid venture. Present owner bought it like that naija used and brought it to our car stand and on inspection we found these anomalies and decided not to go thru with the purchase.

Please will like to know the best gear oil for C180 Mercedes, i recently changed the complete plates. But i was not comfortable with the fourth gear changing. It nags. I used Oando gear Oil. Please any advise on that ?
