Nah I don't agree bro.

Shehu is criticized because he doesn't add anything extra to our team unlike Aina and Ebuehi who we feel are younger and better in the RB position. IMHO Abdullahi has tried in the past but he doesn't have the attacking and defensive dynamism of Ola and Tyrone.

Wilfred on the other hand has to show more in the SE. The qualities he's shown while playing for Leicester makes me believe he can do more. The only game off the top of my head he impressed me in was against Guinea at the last AFCON. Ndidi always gives 6/10 performances in the national team when he can actually drop 8/10 judging by his ability. So I don't think it's because of stats that we say he's not doing enough.

JohnBullMySon:

Shehu is criticized here because 90% of people here judge by club and league. They feel that Shehu's club makes him unfit for the Super eagles. If Shehu were to sign for an EPL club this January, you'll be suprised on how quickly the whole talk will sway the other side.

As for Ndidi. I very much disgree with you. In terms of tackling and dispossesion which is what he is known for in the EPL, he has performed almost at the same level in the SE. The only reason why it looks otherwise is because there are no football analysts in Nigeria that track his performances in our matches. Games that even televising properly is a struggle, with poor uninformed commentary. Bring EPL analysts to track his game and show his stats, you'll be surprised on how much work he does. Dude is a silent 24hr power generator. If not for EPL analysts, you may not even notice how good he is, especially if you only have eyes for attackers.

Modified: Seems Huesca has a game tomorrow but how come Umar that plays in the same Segunda is in camp? undecided

Sincerely speaking as regards shehu..his constant attack by pundits here is not solely on football reason..its just a case of not been "Liked" by many here..looking at it objectively, shehu has been decent against African side despite been used outside his favorite position.. However we av better options dere....dis could be one of d reasons y fans has always called for him to dropped,wc is not his fault entirely..na coach dey use am dere

Even ndidi dt has not really given us his A class leceister performance in eagles shirt has never been dis criticised to be dropped..simply because he's liked by many..but judging by d games he has played so far in eagles Shirt..his performance is far below what we d fans want to c
You're usually more concerned about what others think of a player that your contributions are less objective. Is Shehu the best we can offer for that position, if the answer is no, what's wrong with others wanting a better player even if there's a sentimental undertone.
Before TT dropped Alonso for Chillwell this season, the former was in a great form that some Chelsea fans thought he has confined Chillwell to the bench but we know how it played out.
A player doesn't have to drop disasterclass before a better performer should be considered.

I don’t really know what you guys expect from ndidi in the super eagles

Dude for crying out loud is a dm and in that particular position carries out his duties and responsibilities very well

Are you expecting him to turn to a jay jay, dance around the park and score hattricks with dozen of assist in each game? Abi u Dey expect am to be a yekini who ought to have atleast 20 goals for the team so far? Or expecting him to be a mikel who should detect the teams transition from midfield to attack?

Ndidi is an out to out dm and a destroyer and is high time you guys let the guy me

The oliseh we today still rate as the best dm ever in the national team had only a goal and few assist during his time

Dts y I said overall despite been played out of position he's still decent against African side so d outcry is not because he's dt bad but because he's been played where we av better options.

So shey na shehu fault abi coach?

he has the ability to do more but can’t offer what he doesn’t hv

It’s high time you guys get it to your heads that ndidi is nothing but an out and out dm and a destroyer

He is no playmaker or cm who tailor made passes are expected of

His primary duty is to guide the back four, win tackles and cover grounds as well so any other thing is mere addition

Ndidi will never be a mikel obi if that is what you expect of him

Not all players will carry their club performance to their country

Well u av a point ,however if u get what I am saying u will understand where I am coming from..I don't knw if u and charlesemeka was opportune to watch oliseh games den..u can't compare his 4 with dt of ndidi..he plays with charisma, give accurate long pass, add composure to his game, makes dt daring runs..Ndidi to me has d potential to b better Dan what we re cin in eagles cos we av seen dis glimpse of dt playing style in Leicester. However when he comes to eagles,it seems to me like someone who's holding back,or afraid as if he's playing a debut game.. By now ndidi shld av been influential and imposing in our midfield dept(senior man like grin)..same way oliseh was back den...main reason eguavoen said he needs to come all out and play his game..when it comes to his primary duties, like Charles said,he's doing it well..but I believe he has more in his locker to give Dan what we re cin now.

i wasn’t opportuned to watch olise? Baba me na old man with baby face ooo cheesy

What made oliseh stand out and a bit better than ndidi were is trademark long range missiles and passes

Oliseh long passes can only be compared to that of mikel and Okocha. Ndidi as
Well is decent at it but not as good as the the above mentioned trio
