komekn:The so-called 5 teams better than us with atleast a world class player, were they without the world class player to take them beyond the group stage in 2018 world cup? Or three of the teams were without the world class player to take them past Nigeria to clinch the third place in AFCON 2019? |

12large1:But Iheanacho is not a striker. Eguavoen himself said Iheanacho is positionally confused. He functions better as a SS not a striker. Currently we have only 2 strikers, Umar and Awoniyi. |

humility33: He claimed “we are going to AFCON without our 2 forwards on current form” and he listed Dennis and Osimhen as those two forwards which is not true. |

humility33: We haven't seen, because they haven't gotten the opportunity It is the same way Osimhen was chopping bench in the last AFCON and we hadn't seen what he could do for the Super Eagles, but when he got the opportunity, he used it. You cannot expect anything from people that never got an opportunity 10 Likes |

12large1:He may be a good finisher but man isn't a striker. Same way Sterling, Mahrez, KDB scores doesn't mean they are strikers. His best position is an 8 not a 9 1 Like |

nelszx: Iheanacho is a striker and he played there for man city and has played there for Leicester City The sterling and co you called aren’t recognized we strikers but iheanacho is recognized as one in the epl Iheanacho has played as a CF about 20 times this season but you still think he is not a striker ,I still don’t get most of you guys 4 Likes |

nelszx: Nacho can play as a Cf very well He is more clinical than the strikers in camp, he is good with positioning His problem is that he gives away ball easily and poor touches sometimes Playing him as a CF is not out of place 2 Likes |

andrewbaba44: Thank you Better to play him as a CF where he alternate with Iwobi/Aribo depending on who is with the ball He is more fluid and versatile than the other strikers to me as he can score and assist so well 4 Likes |

humility33: What do you know that nobody else does I have one mantra, it's not based on emotive preference but just , consistent, continuous , outstanding performance in your club and league. And if your in a lower league then you should be the most outstanding player well at least top three in that league. You can't be a mouse in lower league and club and all of a sudden become a Lion in the national team. There are exceptions but highly unlikely. Ighalo I rate highly because he had consistently done it. Desser is not better than Ighalo , Awoniyi who I know up close and personal I rate higher than the rest much higher and much more than KC. Awoniyi is a definitive out and out No. 9 a true striker. It's going to get hard and tough in the AFCON physically challenging too. And after years of learning and loan moved but steadily Awoniyi had begun to show real promise. But we don't look at teams in Isolation or rose tinted glasses but in comparison. In this regard Cote d'Ivoire, Senegal , Cameroon ( home factor) Algeria and Egypt are better than us. Your biggest flaw is you SEE things in isolation not by comparison and are way too emotive to make an objective comparison appraisal. Nigeria are not favourites at this AFCON. Even by our own standards by comparison of our own SE teams from years past in my opinion this is weakest team we brought to the AFCON in decades. With regards to Nwakali there is nothing to say that I haven't already said. Potential has shelf life that shelf life has EXPIRED. He is the quintessential product of a corrupt NFF. |

forgiveness: Epl, la liga and Seria are the Big 3. Their goals holds more weight than any other league that’s why I said “on current form”.. bundesliga and Lique 1 are among the big 5 but they’re still farmers league.. to me, 1 goal scored at Epl, la liga and Seria is an equivalent of 1.75 at bundesliga and Lique 1 while 2 at all other backwater league |
