SAA is failed airline. KQ has never stopped flying since inception. Not even during worse of COVID-19. We convered the dreamliners to freightliners.

Bankrupt SAA stopped flying for 18 months. Now they are flying to DRC congo and Ghana - and we are helping them - because we know they have lots of potential.

actually it was 1 month

Am Kenya defend itself against Morocco, note you have similar gdp. Morocco has about 5 world cities,Nairobi has just one third world city with a cherry on the top “kibera”.

Also shed more light on the Kenya and Singaporean thingy.

Prove to us that lagos has more GDP than Morocco - show us how possible it is. You're beating around the bush.

Nairobi is on another level - we're not your levels.

I repeat most Maghreb nations are t rolling with the rest of Africa save for SA,Mauritius,Namibia and their leagues in the developed world.Kenya is one big joke. Don’t kid yourself.

Kigali no, Windhoek infrastructure quality yes. But it’s a small city.

Compare Windhoek with Capetown. Very striking similarities.

This debate ended the time you brought outsiders. The onus was on you to give use the pointers, start with pictures - right from vertical infrastructure to horizontal infrastructure. I believe Casablanca is light years ahead in terms of horizontal infrastructure.( transport infrastructure; streets; etc)

What is horizontal infrastructures what is vertical.do you mean skyscrapers?

Morocco is European like and they don’t need skyscrapers to be modern. It has road, transport and all those things you listed and it’s also buildings that are world class. Your slums third world scrapes inspire no one.

Lol you are one olodo, noise making miscreant.
Let me play your game. You said our gdp is cooked just cos our cities can’t compete with SA cities and our Gdp’s are quite close(this goes to show you know nothing about gdp and annual economic output). The gdp of Morocco and Kenya is quite close(a smaller gap than Nigeria and SA) ,can you be kind enough to tell me why no Nairobi can’t compete with even thier fifth tier city.

What of 2019? or 2018? So if today a start up in Tanzania (smiley ) wins a billion dollars in funding; will we then declare TZ the undisputed tech leader. Like I said for the last few years - in tech sector - it's been a battle btw Nigeria and Kenya - with South Africa and Egypt in the mix.

Now continue with heckling.

what do you have to say about this then?

Vertical infrastructure are basically buildings - low rise, skyscrapers etc.
Horizontal infrastructure is self explanatory - roads, rail system, fibre connectivity, etc.
Morocco is more developed - than nearly all sub-Saharan countries, save SA.
With Morocco's tiny economy, they are doing more than Nigeria - that explains how inflated your figures are.
Next time, engage the brain. Don't be childish every time.

I dont think so - see that diagram. Your diaspora is doing great - bringing investment back - but you're otherwise hopeless.

Kenya remain the rising african lion

My diaspora is great??
Lol
You are clown.

Of course my disapora is great just like the disapora of China or India.

We are great countries with great disaporas.
It's not a weakness, it's a strength.

Unlike Kenya where Indians, Lebanese and other foreigners run the show using Kenyans as slaves.

By the time they get bored and pull their capital, everything will fade away.

Besides, many of the innovative tech start ups in Nigeria were created by Nigerians that live in Nigeria all their lives.

In GDP numbers yes, naija is way above TZ.
Naija has 500+b while TZ has 65b .Almost 1 ninth.

But on ground? Can naija have 9 times of what TZ has?

Don't be foolish. What do you mean but on ground? On ground is not a standard of measurement. All metrics insist Tanzania is a backward shithole. CCM can only fool Tanzanians.

But can we go on ground to compare? Can we use turkana or kibera as a case study?

Actual case studies have been done to explain childhood stunted growth and malnutrition among Tanzanians. Read here.. wink

Boss, konza can never be completed, Konza were announced on June 10, 2008, as part of Vision 2030 and nothing tangible has been recorded, Nigeria's recently embarked new city tagged "Alaro city" has more infrastructures and building than Konza and Tatu cities combined
here is an extract from one Kenya's best writer and reporter

1 JUNE 2021 • NAIROBI, KENYA
". On either side of the road, a cacophony of ranches, mile after mile. Most of these are white-owned or formerly white-owned, the hinterland of an enduring colonial presence. Cows graze forlornly in the distance. I miss the turn to Konza, as there is nothing to suggest a city here. Only once I’ve driven past it do I recognize the complex where the Konza Technopolis Development Authority (KoTDA) is located. It is the only building for kilometers around taller than one story .

At the main gate, there are security measures: a look into the car, a mysterious mirror thrust aggressively underneath its chassis, a demand for identification, and the temperature checks and dabs of sanitizer that have become a permanent part of security ritual. Then I drive up to the KoTDA headquarters. All around are workers in hard hats, trucks filled with sand, excavators, and the other normal detritus of construction sites. This is the headquarters of the so-called Silicon Savannah By the looks of the Konza Technopolis Development Authority, there’s little to indicate that 13 years have gone by since the launch of what was first trumpeted by the Kenyan government in 2008 as being the future “best-planned” city in Africa. With promises of mass job creation and investors “trooping in,” Konza City’s grin
groundbreaking was meant to be a source of national pride and a marker of progress — a sign that Kenya was on the cutting edge of global tech. "

https://restofworld.org/2021/the-failed-promise-of-kenyas-smart-city/

Konza has more structures than Eko Atlantic desert. Just a quick reminder. wink
