Very true: they offered a colleague of mine an assistant manager role.

I would have applied for a superintendent if not other pursuits.

I might come back there in the future, who knows.

Make I waka this waka first.

Shut up and going read my modified comment, yorubas are scared of enriching igbos since they're the richest importers and exporters so they'll not succeed with their Biafra agenda, they're normal riverians who this port closure has greatly affected and they've been thrown out of jobs.

And for ur info, when Jonathan was there NPA was still working the workers had their own quarters and were seen as one of the richest individuals in town back then, now a visit to their quarters looks like a godforsaken homeless camp and retirement home
Igbos are the biggest importers you claim, who gives them the letter of credit, or loan facilities for the importation, isn’t it the same owned Yoruba Banks? No be only richer than Yoruba people.

Or is it possible to be richer than the bank? Nonsense Wailer what do you export as a commodity for foreign exchange? I am not talking of trafficking narcotics?

Lagos does not need another port. There is congestion in the city. The Yorubas with the military leaders then worked to close down the Sapele and Warri ports, infact they made it virtually impossible to revive those ports with their sentimental politics. If Nigeria has a major port in Warri, Sapele, Bayelsa, Calabar and Akwa Ibom and they are fully functional this would lead to decongestion of the population of Lagos and it would spread the development across the nation. Not to mention, the ports in the southern part of the country are Freshwater Ports and when ships dock, they don't corrode easily.

Your own brain is too short to know that imported goods still need to be purchased and harnessed in businesses and services to drive the economy ......abi na ibo man go still buy everything for inside that your village brain??

Abi if Ibo man imports computer, isn't it Yoruba man that will buy and use it to operate his online company??

Very daft, local people.

Most igbos who acquired their money legally are mostly importers and exporters

And as it stands now their importers and exporters are one of the richest individuals in nigeria, go and carry out a research, I'm not an igbo I'm from kalabari

Good development. Meanwhile, Ibom Deep seaport project is yet to commence as host communities are fighting with the state government. Hopefully it will see the light of the day.

After this godforsaken yoruba politicians have closed down all the ports in the South south las las na frustration and traffic go kill all of them.

Prices of goods have skyrocketed in rivers state as a result of NPA and onne port closure, FG and yoruba politicians connived and closed down all the river state ports just because they're scared of igbos in rivers state, and allowing the ports function means enriching the igbos pocket which may strengthen their fight for their useless biafra agenda......not knowing they're also sane and normal rivers people who this punishment has tremendously affected

Of what benefit is a single state port system to nigeria? Has it not led to the increase in middlemen, hoarding and traffic congestion especially lagos?

Make everybody for this country do get sense abeg, it'll be better if people protest and boycott lagos ports

How come Jonathan didn't open it if ur claim is right.

So because of this now Lagos State govt shouldn't build her port with her money again eh cool

See as Lagos is setting their future. Yet one urchin from a failed state will open his gutter of mouth to advise them on how to run their state better.

If you were sensible, you should pray the federal government of Nigeria to do same to states other than Lagos.

This is a good news but I think that the federal government should also diversify this port to other parts Nigeria to dicongest Lagos a very good example is Onitsha port.

Lazy man, Federal Government doesn’t have any major projects in Lagos State more than any other state, investment in Lagos Colony is mostly private sector driven.

You ain't a patriot afterall. For your information and understanding, Lekki deep sea port ain't Federal government project, neither Lagos State government. That port is being own and develop by the conglomerate of business minded companies such as Tolaram group of Singapore and China Development Bank and so many of Nigeria banks.

Lagos government will probably have a share in this enterprises by the mere provision of lands and ofcourse the peaceful atmosphere in Lagos for development.

This Seaport Is going to be the biggest and the deepest in West Africa and it's going to be highly automative in operation.

Federal government has no say in this project, strictly a private own enterprise.

Therefore, that's the reward of peace and dynamic leadership in Lagos.

Nigeria is so highly blessed. The only thing lacking is a determined and purposeful leadership that can chest out and say I wouldn't steal or taste the spoil of stealing and dogmatically face up and develop the country with human feeling unlike Buhari that has killed the country and still looking for many ways to quickly bury the country before May, 2023.

It is now Yoruba not Fulani anymore that did not allow you lazy people develop your state?
