I said Egypt and Tunisia in 4th and 5th

Haba bros!!!
you rated them higher than Nigeria, since the 80s Tunisia have never made Afcon final except the one they hosted and won in 2004

Egypt have looked very good as a team under Carlos Queiroz, they've also gelled more as a team by playing in the Arab cup so that will prove an advantage for them. Players to watch are Salah and Omar, they are the players that will be lethal for them if we don't take care, but they have a shaky defence and average midfield..

Needless to say the likes of Chukwueze, Awoniyi/Umar Sadiq, Nacho will seriously test them... Our firepower in attack is quite superior to theirs as they are mostly Salah-reliant...

It will be a close one and we should be ready for some heart-in-our-mouths moments with Salah doing his magic (we can cage Salah, but for how long?) all it takes is a lapse in concentration.

Despite the shambolic preparations , i feel we can defeat those Arab mofos.

Still wonder why we can not differ on opinions and not imsult another person's views. It is really not nice to address someone you do not know in a rude manner. If insults were removed from comments here I doubt a lot people will be left.
Darkelf said his opinion which might not align with a lot of people but nowhere did he insult anyone.
I believe the fun behind forums like this I'd the difference in opinions but not the insults and bring rude

I think not rating the Algerians could be dangerous. They have a team without Mahrez. Team is really compact. That said no one is above losing.

Na today you begin comment on soccer sites? Back in 2011/12, I was Kwaku Mensah on Ghanasoccernet.com. In 2017 few days before our battle in Ndola, I met an OkochaOyedepo on Zamfoot, and he was a Zambian.

The way he combined the names(ChidozieAina) alone, should already tell you he ain't Nigerian. By the way, this isn't the first time he is telling us he is an Algerian

Lol, just noticed his posts too. Not bad if intentions are genuine.

Wonder why people are super scared of this Algerian team..

Even if we meet Algeria in 2nd round, SE have always shocked favourites and defending champs during early stages of knockout games.

1994 we beat defending champs CIV in SF..
2004 we beat favourites and defending champs Cameroun in QF..
2006 we beat favourites and defending champs Tunisia in QF..
2013 we beat favourites CIV in QF...
2019 we beat defending champs Cameroun in 2nd Round...

We have our own legacy in AFCON which make it even more exciting regardless of personnel we use...

Small world, yo. Small world!

We live right opposite Emmanuel Anglican Church, Mkpofia street. For high school, I went to CKC Onitsha (long story), but my two old brothers were both CIC Old boys. And my sister went to Queens. My uncle live in Ogui but he told us that he used to play soccer at Abakpa Nike with the likes of Emmanuel and the senior Jay Jay Okocha.

Coal City is the home of soccer, no question.

O pari

ChrisKels:

I be Achara layout, through and through. I grew up adjacent St Paul's Catholic church, Off Igbariam and Mayor Junctions, precisely Nnajinwugwu street, the next street to Amah street where Chinedu Okoli(Flavour N'abania) also grew up. Me and others including Edu Malaga(Chisom Egbuchulam's younger brother), Obinja(Obinna Nwobo) who was a mass server then for All Saints Catholic church were ball boys when the likes of Chinedu Ogbuke Obasi, Flavour N'abania(ezigbote JB grin) and co were playing street football at St Paul's semi Sandy pitch.

Achara Layout get men oo!

Are you a Sempre, UNEC sec, Command, Federal, Union or Army Day old boy? grin

It is wisdom to be weary of Egypt .

They have a very strong league in that pays very well by African standards, some players have been paid €20k a week.

As a consequence the desperate Dan desire to leave your country at any cost into the most inhospitable and socially isolated places in the world for peanut football contracts. Is not a an issue with them.

That means the larger percentage of the TEAM plays in Egypt. That's why you will notice the play with such cohesion and with no egos in the team. They all know and understand themselves and can be very tactfully compact..

I would not say they should be dismissed ,they are probably the best team not the best players but team. Add to that they have a world class player in Salah.

Should not be under estimated so easily.

Maybe you want to over hype and exaggerate and over state the attributes of player's because they are Nigerian. You even make excuses for the inexcusable, And because I will not join you in that self deception you call it hate.

The player that succeed are those who are made to realise the challenges and how much they have to improve with honest even harsh criticism.

Those that fail probably listen to your hype and believe it and don't improve and then fail.

You are part of the Nigerian problem enthroning mediocrity on the basis of Nepotism and favouritism.
