In this Buhari regime where things are difficult, it's disturbing that we still have to pay for electricity we didn't use.

It is not enough that the bill itself is crazy as it does not even reflect in improved electricity supply, we now had to pay for it when we didn't use it.

Very painful.

Does anyone know when the next metering phase will commence? Because this is getting out of hand.

Even their post paid metre is rubbish as they

don't come to read it but they rather send estimated bill.

I even think they prepare their bills before month end waiting for people.

And the bill on our side is increasing monthly. Last month and before it was around 34k. This time around, they sent 45k. It's tragic, honestly.

We are in real sense not paying for electricity but darkness.

I don't get this? How do they give an estimated bill to prepaid meter? What is it prepaid for?

Next time you're travelling, write to them so they'll disconnect you and reconnect you back when you return.

By the way, did you travel on the 1st of December 2021 and returned 1st of January 2022?

The December bill was what you used in November.

In my area, they even billed me above what's supposed to be maximum consumption of 12hrs/day

We travelled on the 21st of December last year. We just came back yesterday.

The bill was brought this month.

It is a private property (my father's house)
