Stormtrooper11: Yea it was disturbing but did I call for the player to be banned or anything, it was just an immoral gesture that the player should be warned about |

safarigirl:Twitter is one of the worst places to engage in conversation about the SE. Someone who has not watched SE in the last 5 years will be running around making comments. Dedicated circles like what we have here is quite satisfying. The quality of our interactions is rich because we are not just passionate BUT more importantly informed about the SE 10 Likes |

IDENNAA:A Nigerian is a Nigerian especially in sports. Truth is that in a few years from now it is possible that we field a team of 90 percent foreign born players. Already the D'tigers team is 100% foreign born. See ehn one would think because these guys are born outside our shores, you'd think they'd be less dedicated, they'd be half Nigerian in their mentality and our connections with them would be weak. Na lie! They are so passionate, so dedicated and we love them just as we love all our sport men who make us proud. Ebuehi was initially not invited, he nearly wan die. Man was full of joy when he was invited yet this is Ebuehi who rarely plays when invited. See them eating eba, egusi, keeping the connection to the motherland. Imagine someone with your thinking becomes a coach! Yet you are abroad enjoying all the best that another man's hard work has created. What is my point: these players are all Nigerians, foreign or local born. The only consideration is quality Our national team is one area we have managed to keep out the cancer of tribalism. Abeg this subtle brand of tribalism of local born players and foreign born players is abhorrent. 30 Likes 9 Shares |
