Mujtahida:You're right. I also read a tweet from someone complaining about Aribo today on Twitter. He said he's not convinced about our number 10 Aribo and that is his major fear . The Twitter space could be damn comical most times. Many of them probably last watched the super eagles when okocha was no 10. 4 Likes 1 Share |

andrewbaba44: My point exactly , since you find insulting people to be a hobby and fun thing why then are you worked up ? But , I guess you aren't that tough skinned, after all. Which means your insults is another way of fighting people you could not defeat in a simple debate. Seems like a character of a dimwit. 2 Likes |

Mujtahida:I have learnt in life to keep like minded people closer to me and have only long distance relationships with people who have different passions, mentality and opinion even if they're relatives. Arguing with such a person is the worst activity you can engage in. |

Mujtahida: This is not a matter of passion , because you cant be more Nigeria than a Nigerian. We have a culture and a style and that must be upheld. Your white man almost ruined our football culture and passion. I was so frustrated with your white coach I nearly gave up on watching SE play. Thats what a foreigner will do to your legacies , though , not all. If Rohr was in charge Onyekuru , Nwakali , Olayinka will never be invited but these are the people who are flying Nigeria's flag and will marry a Nigerian woman to continue our culture. There are issues tied into these than you could see. I am not saying don't invite foreign born but why must it be the leftovers and not the best. Are we INFERIOR to England ? I am very confident England doesn't have more talents than us, they are just better organized. And , you are wrong about foreign born dominating the Nigerian team , because we all our big guns are Naija born and these foreign borns are just spectators that will never displace the main players. Secondly , no top flying English player will ever agree to lace booth for Nigeria. Iwobi is struggling to stamp his presence in a mid table club. Aribo's plays in lowly rated Scottish Ajayi Championship. Maduka a disaster waiting to happen. Ekong is benefiting more from Nigeria; very easily replaceable. Aside Ebuehi and Aina both who could be easily replaced Nigeria has the full potential to groom a pool of talent that could rule the world....England can only dream of these. So , I am proud of the talent that exist in our system and I don't think we need any foreigners to help us play better, unless if you want to help some rejected English players of Nigerian descent. 2 Likes |

GeneralDae:In fact, they'd make you derail. I saw how they were being stupid yabbing Maduka and calling it cruise. That boy is playing a dangerous game with the most toxic, unrelenting, rabid mob in the world - Nigerians on Twitter. Ekong did the best thing. Lock yourself away from their adulation or criticism. Their praises is nothing but a scorpion waiting for just one mistake or bad game to sting you. 9 Likes |

IDENNAA:You need to tone it down with your disgust for foreign born players, For someone like you who lives abroad, you keep contradicting yourself, imagine tomorrow, your own child is denied an opportunity here in Nigeria for being born abroad, how would you feel? I hate Amaju touring Europe, begging some mediocre players to come play for us, but the ones with quality & passion should always be allowed to represent us whenever there’s an opportunity. Minus Akpoguma, none of the foreign born players in this present team toyed with our emotions, they all came when they were invited. You need to cut these guys some slacks, none of them choose their birth place, otherwise, don’t cry foul when such treatments is melted out to your offspring in the nearest future. 12 Likes 1 Share |

IDENNAA:Emmett Till happened in the 50's. The days of negro lynching and civil rights protests. That's what you argue with in a millennial, gen z dominated era with substantial social awareness and human empathy. Are you sure you're living in today's America, or did you find yourself deep in the Midwest, surrounded by white farmers with rifles ? 12 Likes 3 Shares |

IDENNAA: Bros, foreign born, local born ...are Nigerians not Nigerians? Do you mean to say a Nigerian born in Lagos is more Nigerian than a Nigerian born in Oslo? If that's what you mean then I'm sorry to say I'm disappointed in you. An European lady once said to me in in our pure pidgin English "Na black man wey dey always claim victim to racism dey practice racism pass" We need to start seeing ourselves as one, one people, one human, irrespective of races and colour And "our charity", I believe, should begin from home 9 Likes 1 Share |

chrisooblog: I tend to look at goals in the league as my core unit of measurement. Then it seems you are looking at last season and this season together. My approach would be present continuous, that's more reflective of the HERE and NOW. Most clubs will loose and gain player's over the summer even a change of Manager in some clubs. What that means the dynamics have changed. As a consequence , players who have limited capacity oto adapt and change may find some changes to their advantage or disadvantage. New players can mean a loss of your position as well. All the reasons why last season performance is not always reflective of the HERE and NOW. For instance Demerai Grey has not been a prolific goals scorer. Has gone to Everton and scored more goals in his entire career at this stage of the season, gone just halfway. So this this Season one could day Demerai is a baller in the HERE and NOW. |
