Well it's based on the analysis you want to argue from. The best 11 is not for this season season's performance alone - it's for the whole year. The Sallah you mentioned had a trophyless season - was eliminated in the UCL by Madrid in the last 8, struggled with his team in the league to make top 4. Talking about consistent all year performance for forwarders - then Benzema, Lewandowski, and Halland are definitely the top 3
