Dem say Mendy has had a shaky match, all of una wey say Okoye dey shaky, you see, it happens to the best too.

Anyway, Malawi dey press Senegal well well

Not sure I have seen Malawi's goalie in 19 minutes, but I have seen Mendy
Mendy has been struggling recently even in his club. However, we all see how good he can be on his day. Don't use Mendy's situation to justify your shaky crush

It is bias if you vote someone based on a personal relationship.

That is literally how bias works. He did not vote him because he was anything near the best, he voted him because they have a longstanding relationship.
but if you vote for a player based on the fact that both of you are from the same continent, it is not bias?

E go better if you take a break from football

Ejuke skill set depicted number 10 but in reality the guy is a winger with deft touches,I rate him highly after watched his last three matches for eagles....I want to see him from the start against Equ Guinea.

I remember in 1994, we had Amuneke and finidi George on the wings. Those were real wingers playing at the highest level...

Simon, chuks, musa ,Ejuke play more like wide forwards.. Their strengths are speed and dribbling, and not really passing. That's why they don't have the vision and football IQ necessary to play as a traditional winger..

I really hope Ejuke gets to start against E/Guinea. That dude is a bundle of talent.

No.. include Simon please. The fact is all our wingers have their own individual flaws.

Probably he is acting based on what he has heard from Moses Simon or his sources in the glasshouse.
Amongst all the footballers that have emerged from Kaduna state, the likes of Ambrose Efe, Simon Moses,Sadiq Umar, Chrisantus Macaulay etc Only Simon Moses is closest then Sadiq Umar.

Exactly

I did not say it was not bias when you vote someone from your place. If you had read what I asked you to read, you would not have come to ask me this question

I stated that everyone was using their bias to vote, and it would have been nice for the Africans to use the bias for their own, not against their own

You did not read my points, or you did not understand it. Because my entire point is that everybody is biased in one way or the other.

We share similar love for Jay Jay then cos he's also my favorite.

Let Ejuke establish himself on the flanks first. Obviously he didn't play the last match because the coach wants to teach him a lesson.

cheesy cheesy Baba just too selfish against Egypt. And also i feel Ejuke had zero awareness of his defensive responsibilities.. But it was just one game and he didn't get to start.

I hope Eguaveon gets to start some of these lads so they get to show what they are made of. I personally feel Ejuke is a good player. Just rough edges but he's gonna come out good

I disagree . Alisson is a world class goalkeeper with plenty of individual accolades to his name.. He might not have done enough in 2021 to deserve the award, but his quality was never in doubt cus he is literally one of the best goalkeepers in the world at present.. That mist have played a part in Salah's decision..
I understand the point you are trying to make, but you see, people have their choices..
In 2017 for instance when Moses was nominated for the BBC African player of the year award,I voted for him ahead of Salah and told anybody who cared to listen that he deserved it,not just because he is a Nigerian but also because I feel that his performance that helped Chelsea win the league that year was better than that of Salah who had just recently joined Liverpool..

We are not talking about someone's general stats

We are talking about their last season's achievements

Based on that, na sentiment Salah use vote. That is fine for him.

By the looks of it, Senegal will face Cape Verde/Ghana/Gabon in Rof16. They'll probably shithouse their way to finals just like they did in 2019.
