My response is based on what people are commenting on this post, even the headline is misleading it said "resign over traffic violation" instead of "step aside due to interference".

Nigerians can attack. Anyway, he wasn't asked to step-down because he violated and got ticket for distracted driving, instead he was asked to step aside because he discuss such a past issue with a police chief. In Canada, it is classified as interference based on his political appointment.

I believe we're not on same page. Let me clarify my write-up, I can sense this is getting into a debate, and I can't partake in a debate I'm not an eye witness.

My first sentence "Nigerians can attack" is comment on forumite attacking the minister (Which I took as a joke).

My second sentence is to clarify the offence, which the headline quotes as resign because of violated ticket which is not the case.
