because the globalists used the ref that blew whistle before 90mins to penetrate CAF and control the officiating of some matches.

If you question them they'll use that referee that blew before 90 mins to say Africans can't officiate a competitive match.
Chai grin grin

Conspiracy theories really turns people brains to stagnant water. Common sense simply eludes them.

It's a confederation referee exchange program. It happened in Euros and Copa America.

A quick question

Y is a Mexican referee officiating an afcon match?...
it's called Confederation referee exchange program where one or two referees are invited from another confederation to strengthen partnership. Last Euros, there was a south American ref there.

That Gambian team was populated by players from the Swiss fourth division, English fourth division etc. And they bossed the shii out of Tunisia. Are you saying we can not get players from the NPFL who can beat Swiss fourth-division clubs if well coached?
Bossed what game?
Tunisia had
over two times more possession.
Two times more shots.
Created two times more big chances.
Over two times more passes.
And they missed a penalty.
Gambia scored against the run of play in injury time.

Fourth division players?
Of the four players Gambia brought from the bench, two were confirmed starters in the Belgium Pro League (including the goalscorer).

Meanwhile half of the players on the Tunisian bench had a combined 8 minutes of professional football in their life.

NPFL?

You're quoting the NPFL as though it is the next best thing to vaccination.

It is only a league with potential due to Nigeria's rich resources in football and population.

Outside that potential, it is currently one of the worst first divisions in the world.

In the past 6 seasons (including this season), Nigeria have sent 11 different representatives to the CAF Champions League, only one has qualified for the group stages proper.

Meanwhile 4 Tunisian teams have qualified for the 5 Semi finals in that same period (still in group stages this season, might be more)
.

Let our home-based qualify past the preliminary rounds first before they think of facing quality opponents.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have exceeded all expectations in this tournament. They have proved many naysayers wrong and are placed as favourites to win this tournament.
At this point it is not out of place to predict the super eagles reaching the finals.
Asides the Super Eagles, the Ivorians are another team with bright prospects.

Football isn’t a mathematical equation and the only strong team that we have defeated thus far is Egypt. Kudos to Eguavoen tho

Funnily, if this happens it wouldn't end that week cos coincidentally, our girls will battle them the very next weekend after the AFCON finals for a place in AWCON and World Cup.

We go lift two of them this year. Make all Africa dey shout Naija cheesy

Copenhagen shouldn't be the best option for Amoo, let him consider French, Spanish, or Belgium leagues. I don't see any difference between Swedish and Danish leagues.

Paul Makuiru, Nottingham well not so bad

Obinna to Koln, nice one

At 19, he has to be modest with his club choices. See what it did to Onyekuru.

Kobenhaven are doing quite well. Bigger status than Onyeka's Midtylland and unbeaten in Europe this season.

However Rangers still remain the best option. Only problem is that they are expecting to sell Hagi and Aribo first before bidding for Amoo.

But Amoo is desperate to leave.

I didn't know the refs were already called up before the tournament started...

the other continental football organisations will never ever allow an African officiate any of their competitions ( unless I'm ignorant of the any African referee officiating outside Africa )... so CAF should never ever allow non-Africans officiate in CAF because they are taking jobs away from Africans..

Relax. There is some kind of referee exchange going on between football confederations. At the Euros last year, we had referees from south America. If you remember well too, the copa America was going on at the same time and we had referees from Europe participate in them. CAF also had referees from CONCACAF (I've come across Mexico, Guatemala officials acting in position of VAR and Centre Referees in this tournament personally ) and I'm sure that CAF referees are also invited to other football Confederate to officiate. So relax, the purpose is simply to boost and create and better officiating for matches. And give a different experience as well for the referee.

Onuachu and Awo will push each other for that 2nd spot. Recall Onuachu was number 2 coming into this Afcon before injury struck and was even next to Osimhen and Ighalo when Iggy returned. Whoever wins the battle falls to 3rd spot for good and try to hold off the others pushing from outside the top 3 choices.

Ofcos no one is talking about Iheanacho because he is the undisputed SS of the team and plays a major role in attack in our current tactical setup.

Doctor,Possibly,Awoniyi with good run in this Afcon should sit comfortably as second striker behind Osimehn, now left for Onuachu to battle him cos I don't see Ighalo back if we maintain this momentum.

Alright, I know this is football but a norms a person that qualified top of his group should beat someone who came third.

To my Tunisian friend.

Tell your players to pack the bags already, no need for too much after party, from stadium bus carry everyone to the airport and find your way, if you are quick enough, you can do like Partey.

I would so much love Cameroon-Nigeria final. Y’all know watta mean.

Simon Moses had two assist from corner kick last AFCON yet he is a poor setpiece taker. Quite funny cheesy. Simon Moses is our best winger argue with your keyboard.
In the order of our best setpiece I will take
Ihenacho and Simon ahead of nwakali.
Simeon Moses is not only our best winger but best player for now with Ndidi and Ekong closing him in performance in this Afcon.

Cape Verde will stun Senegal with a late winner in added extra time.

Save this!!!

Only those who haven't watched this Senegalese team will be overtly optimistic about their chances. But for the controversial penalty Mane scored against Zimbabwe in the first march, many do not realize that Senegal will probably be qualifying as a third place team for the knockout stages. Of course they have experience and quality on their side, bit have me been uninspiring at best. I'm rooting for Cape Verde to carry the day.

If youv'e followed this tournament closely then you know anything can happen that can change a game within seconds. All this finals and semi finals you are talking of shows complacency.

It means you don't rate your opponents. We should never underate anyone, talkless of a team that had half of their team out for Convid related reasons.

I am rooting for and hoping Nigeria wins. In fact, if we play with the grit and desire we've played with so far, we will win. And then hopefully luck is on our side too. We can beat Tunisia. Yes. But please let us not be carried away ooh. Like I said, and i'll say it again, the game is 50/50. Because these guys are going to want to prove themselves. They will fight.

We pray that luck favours us.
This is a game, not a guess work with assurances. Make una calm down.

The same Sanusi folks here called Aboki with pace but no brain?

You are the ones being tribalistic with d Sadiq stuff in all honesty. Criticize his abysmal performance without dragging his tribe or using quota system or calling him cow.

How many Northerners are even complaining they don't have representatives?
If not recently i never see Nigerians complaining that their region or tribe is not fully represented in the national teams....I remember no single south westerner in Nigeria Japan 93 squad and the team was celebrated by all Nigerians with South west people making donations,Festus Odinni was celebrated in Lagos as if he was from that State. Then people always supporting the team irrespective of players involved.I have seen people naming their children after their favorite players.....but now everything has hidden agenda with people read meaning to views ir comments....oh he is supporting Nwakili cos he is a Igbo man or he is supporting Aina cos he is a Yoruba man...oh don't mind him he is defending Sadiq cos he is from the north,no thanks to our politicians.

Honestly, prior to Afcon Sadiq was one of the hyping players here and those who talked good about him are not northerners.Zaidu Sanusi is highly rated here even before he moved to Fc Porto,a moniker Chriskels brought our attention to Sanusi when he was with unknown team in Portuguese division one....Komekn criticized Sanusi often and he never did that on tribal level but football reasoning and I can tell you I don't rate him but am well pleased with his performance so far....Football or sports in general is beyond which region you come from but pure talent.

Sir,I don't want you to have that beliefs that Sadiq was criticized cos he is from the north?NO,prior to Afcon a lot here rated Sadiq than Awoniyi

Nigeria vs Tunisia

Last AFCON win for Tunisia in this fixture was in 2004 when they were the hosts and eventual winners.

Nigeria has had a better head to head record against them for the last 16 years...

On current form and momentum, Nigeria is the team everyone wants to avoid at this AFCON..Predicting a comfortable win for the Super Eagles.

No be penalty dem take win us 2004 afcon ?

Naaah, I don't consider Ighalo as part of the central attacking picture anymore (and he even scored yesterday sef grin). Was only explaining the place of Onuachu Pre-Afcon with Ighalo in the picture then.

Post-Afcon it's gonna be Osimhen as number 1. Awo as number 2 based on expected continued Solid showing in Cameroun. And I expect Awo to bag one or two vs Tunisia and keep bagging till we get to the final. This is not overconfidence. I just know the lads will take things a notch higher than they did against Egypt.

And then a returning Onuachu will be looking to push Awo for that #2 spot.

The others outside these 3 above like Umar, Moffi, Dennis, Okereke, etc will have to bide their time.
