AmericanQuarter: The Federal Government of Nigeria needs to carry out a holistic maintenance on MMIA runways. The runways are already an eyesore. The carousel is equally in a very bad shape. I don't know much about Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja because I have not taken off or returned through the airport. Murtala Mohamed international Airport is the worst disgrace to Nigerians with the huge budgetary provision to the aviation ministry. What a shame. Nonsense.... 3 Likes |

IT GIVES A COMPLETE AIRPORT FEEL. PLUS, IT IS AFFORDABLE SINCE THE AIRPORT AND SPACE IS SMALLER.

Zssk0003: Obiano has really tried. But it does not mean that folks should be posting pictures of Heathrow and asking Obiano to match it within 2 years! What about Nigeria matching Istanbul airport with Abuja or Lagos? This is Istanbul airport that i passed during the festive period. I was too ashamed for Nigeria! 7 Likes 2 Shares

You are right bto. Most of these envious miscreants are jittery and threatened that aside Abuja and MMIA international airports, no other airport in Nigeria comes close to the standard and sophistication of Anambra international airport OreMI22: 2 Likes 1 Share |

[s] leicestercamper:[/s] WE ARE TALKING ABOUT HOW TO FIX OUR HOUSE, SO WE CAN SPEND MORE TIME IN IT, RATHER THAN LIVING IN OTHER PEOPLE HOUSE UNTIL THEY CHASE US OUT. HE IS STILL THINKING ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE HOUSE. IS IT WHEN YORUBA, HAUSA OR FULANI SLICE YOUR MOTHER OR WIFE INTO TWO THAT YOU WILL WAKE UP? WE ARE TALKING ALA IGBO, U ARE TALKING LAGOS AND ABUJA, ARE THOSE PLACES IGBOLAND? |

basilo101: That Anambra International Airport ceiling is a very modern airport design. Travel around the world and see exactly the same ceiling design of steel works in many modern airports. Nigeria still builds block and mortar analog design, so most of you don't even know the world has left the 1960s and 1970s airport design that you guys are used to in Africa. Even the modern Istanbul airport ceiling is made of steel . Designed like wings of a plane. Just that it was painted white to blend with the walls. If the ceiling steel works at Anambra airport were white to blend with the walls. You would marvel at the sheer modern beauty. 5 Likes 1 Share

OreMI22: AN AIRPORT IS SUPPOSE TO BE OUT OF THIS WORLD. SO, ALIENS THAT PASS THROUGH IT, WILL MARVEL AT THE DESIGN. ANAMBRA NEED TO FINISH THIS AIRPORT PROJECT TO WORLD CLASS STANDARD, WITH SUPERB AIR CONDITIONING. THIS IS NOT TIME TO BE THINKING LAGOS OR ABUJA, WE NEED TO BE VERY SHARP. NOTHING HAVE BEEN DONE ON THE INTERIOR OF THAT AIRPORT YET. |
