All these vitupérations and curses on Maduka sounds like a personal thing.
That guy is 22 for God’s sake! A literal baby compared to our former goalkeepers who were well into their thirties. You were nowhere relevant when you were at his age.
The average Nigerian 22-year old is still forming small pikin and eating from mummy’s pot.
That dude needs our support now. At least, he will never make the same mistake again.
Cut Maduka some slack! No be him fault say him fine

Looking back I felt we were so sluggish in that match. Movement was so slow and no team cohesion. Sadiq really tried though.

Comoros are just too impressive ,they just scored from a free kick

They have 6 shots on target while Cameroun got 5 shots on target ,they have been playing with one man down from the 7th minutes

Without Onana great saves they should have been leading Cameroun

I lost more yesterday. Lost a huge bucks that i can't afford to for betting on just one game, Nigeria to win( it was so sure to me after i saw odds increased to 1.98) and i lost my first ever and last bet. Felt depressed 9ja had to bow out in such manner( na ogun go kee that ref). I still got banned by a bolt for sharing match link for Christkel to watch the rubbish match. Work was just off today, I'm yet to recover from the whole events yesterday. Chai cry

One of those shots stopped by Onana in that first half was exactly the type that beat Maduka yesterday.

If only we had a goalie angry

We need to scout for goalkeepers.
Maduka's time will come

The worst part was that we didn't look like scoring in that game yesterday and most likely would have ended in a stalemate and penalties, the team became clueless once Simon was sandwiched with Chukwueze turning himself into a comedian.

Sad but it is one of those things. It shows you are a true fan as you backed your team even with your money

Huge and massive respect to these guys . These underdogs nor dey respect anyone in Africa.. I love how football is played here on this continent..

To think that a Comoros player got redcarded before the 8th minute of play and an outfield player is deputizing as a GK who looks to have more goal keeping fundamentals is simply stunning..

Samu was probably off form.
Could Ejuke have done any better?

Ejuke was also clueless in the games he played, it's a pity that in a squad of 28 players we can't count up to 10 players that did well in this tournament (8/10) displays.
We were wasteful up front on several occasions against all the teams we played in the group stage with majority of them coming from selfish plays from our wingers and forwards.
We should just move on and focus on the March games

The gap between the traditional African giants and so called minnows is almost non existent again. Can you imagine, ordinary Comoros with Folorunsho as goalie and playing a man less for almost all game dey follow cameroun drag inside Cameroon?
Wonderful!!!!!

I am even more worried about the game in march. We really need a solid game plan with options A,B and C. We need wingers who can deliver the balls into the box. Ghana might not France or Brazil but they might bring their A game and we know the SE they can just fall hand at any time

Don’t mind them.
Before this tournament started, absolutely no one even believed that the team would do well. Now they all want to form champions.

In the case of Maduka, it’s like his fine appearance is triggering the extra dig. And some people say men can’t be jealous.
Anyway, Maduka has a bright future and will move on. For the ugly ones dragging him unnecessarily, no matter how much you curse him it won’t change your face. Who don fine don fine.

But Eguavoen brought in Sadiq and we played long balls to him, he did well and created chances. So that was not why we lost.

And what is wrong with having 2 tall players up front U want the ball in the final third. Sadiq had only one chance I can remember from a long ball. Olayinka I believe assisted him with one
