Talk about why, for 10 plus years now, Kenyan students have been failing massively.. Ghanaian teachers will never celebrate with this kind of mass failure because they know that their student performance is a reflection of their overall performance. Our education service will immediately call for teachers retraining if this happens here

11 percent of country arable - world class farming - Kenya

Show me one country that has developed from exporting labour - start with philiphines and india and nigeria and ghana.
We fail our kids so they can join vocational training
Not acquire degrees without commensurate formal jobs.
We can make the pass exams with flying colours like we use to do - exams are moderated - you decide how many you want to pass.
You should do the same - and manufacturing will crawl - soon you will be china

In 1963 - small holder farmers produced 10% ; multinational 90 percent of tea.
Now - multinational produce 20%; small holder 80%
KTDA - Kenya tea dev agency - is without doubt one of africa most succesfully smallholder tea farming.
It regularly pays about a billion dollars to farmers.

How did US export labour and to where? This kind of stuff beyond your Ghana brain.

EXAMS CAN BE MODERATED - again beyond your little puny brain.

We can decide how many kids we want to score A - we can make an A - 50 marks.

We have decided we want very few kids qualifying for universities.

We are not a factory for cheap graduates to the rest of the world.

From 2015 - we decided to deliberate make exams very hard and not to moderate the results - mass failure is intended to send them to vocational training.

PURE NONSENSE.
US after industralizing in 20th century has always been short of labour.
Importing labour worlwide.
Never exported Labour.
Just a few peace corps type to help Ghana - for one or two years before they go back home.
US economy grew because of it's domestic industry.

Ghana, Nigeria, Philiphines and India - those have been exporting labour.

Ghana began exporting millions of slaves in 15th century.

And it still look worse than Burundi.

We thought about that very seriously. Btw 1970s till 2010 - we decided - we cannot waste our meagre resources to develop everywhere. We developed a economic strategy that focussed development on high potential areas (cities, arable rural areas) and where people are really there. The rest we left for UN and NGOS. When we did that - our economy grew very fast - and the videos & pictures are testament.

Of course some areas became remote and marginalized and in 2010 - we decided to fix that - now we have devolved gov - and those areas are emerging from under-development.

You gotta make a choice if you dont have oil and gold smiley

Now I know for a certainty that you are an insane monkey.
I have suspected it since the day you said Kenyan kids are failing because the government wanted it that way, to reduce the number of people going to university.

Breaking news

Nigeria's oil revenue earnings is 3 times less than its debt. What this means Nigeria has to look for three times more money to borrow to pay its debt. Nigerian debt is over 38 trillion naira. At this moment Nigeria is paying 120 percent of its economy service debt

Between January and November 2021, Nigeria produced 440.774 million barrels of crude oil worth approximately N12.4 trillion, according to an analysis of the most recent oil production data released by the Federal Government.
According to a document on Crude Oil and Condensate Production for 2021 obtained from the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission on Tuesday, the Federal Government earned approximately N12.4 trillion from crude oil sales alone during the review period.

It was discovered that oil production fluctuated over the 11-month period, reaching a high of 44.287 million barrels in March and a low of 37.405 million barrels in September.

In January, February, April, May, and June, production volumes were 42.195 million barrels, 39.869 million barrels, 41.17 million barrels, 41.679 million barrels, and 39.4 million barrels, respectively.

The country’s crude oil production volumes in July, August, October, and November were 41.026 million barrels, 38.406 million barrels, 38.06 million barrels, and 38.247 million barrels, respectively.

According to Statistica, a global statistical firm, the average monthly price of a barrel of Brent, the crude against which Nigerian oil is priced, was $54.77, $62.28, $65.41, and $64.81 in January, February, March, and April 2021, respectively.

The average prices in May, June, July, and August 2021 were $68.53, $73.16, $75.17, and $70.71 per barrel, respectively.

During that time, the country’s official exchange rate was around N400 to the dollar. It remained above N400/$ from May to November 2021, after hovering around N379/$ earlier in the year.

Based on an average of N400/$, the various average monthly Brent costs, and the monthly crude oil production figures stated above, Nigeria earned approximately N924.41 billion from oil in January, N993.22 billion in February, and N1.16 trillion in March 2021.

Furthermore, the country’s crude oil earnings in April, May, June, and July were approximately N1.07 trillion, N1.14 trillion, N1.15 trillion, and N1.23 trillion, respectively.

Similarly, the Federal Government received approximately N1.09 trillion, N1.11 trillion, N1.27 trillion, and N1.25 trillion in the months of August, September, October, and November, respectively.
This implies that the government’s total earnings from the sale of crude oil during the 11-month period in 2021 were in the region of N12.4tn.

The majority of Nigeria’s foreign exchange earnings come from crude oil sales, as the country’s economy is heavily reliant on revenue from oil production.

The world's largest fertilizer plant begins production in Lagos , Nigeria with the supply of 120 trucks of fertilizer daily. The $2.5bn plant will bring in $400m yearly from export of fertilizer to other African countries as the Dangote facility more than meets Nigeria's demand.

You are a total illiterate dangote fertilizer plant only produces urea, does not produce npk fertilizer he does not produce compound d fertilizer he does not produce lime fertilizer it only produces one fertilizer and it's the biggest in urea quantity. 88% of African farmers do not use urea they use ammonium nitrate which is 40% more powerful. Illiterate wake up and do your research. In Kenya is Africa including Tanzania it is ammonium nitrate which they use Southern Africa it is ammonium nitrate which day use. How can you compare somebody which only makes one type of fertilizer

Honestly the number of projects that Lagos, a sub-national of Nigeria is embarking on should leave the Kenyans too embarrassed to speak. BRT that Lagos state government did almost 14 years ago is what rsvp and co are just celebrating in 2022 grin

Port almost finished, Refinery almost done, light rail progressing nicely, badagry express moving along nicely, fibre optic cables being laid across the state, All this and I haven't even mentioned the bridge in opebi they just started or the lekki road or the rice mill you just mentioned.

Despite all these capital intensive projects record levels of IGR are still being generated every year. Unlike my Kenyan brothers that have to go cap in hand every time to go and beg their Chinese Sugar daddies
