Ask that question again
you said SE candidate is not sellable in 2023 presidential election , and I asked what makes them not to be sellable?

As a public official, David Umahi is the most accomplished and productive governor in the SE, he performed better Peter Obi, than Obiano and others.

Umahi has less baggage and his more sellable so why are the SE folks and the influencers in that region not actively supporting David Umahi?

RUBBISH

I told you guys that days of Yoruba division and propaganda are gone for good.

Southeast and igbos are collectively supporting all southeast presidential candidates

As you can see .. Ohaneze ndi has set up heavy funds to lobby for them and even set up committees that will initiate diplomacy with him leading the group

Southeast has never been united like this in their quest for presidency..

Umahi is a great sell and if .. who knows Apc gives him the ticket .. then is triple blessing to igbos

Meanwhile

Power returns North.

Yoruba sef and some kind foolish propaganda

The problem is you people cannot unite to produce a consensus candidate because of your avowed commiment to the notion that ibos bow to nobody....the greatest opposition will be from iboland against ibo candidates.....when the time come we will see how every village and hamlet will lay claim to the presidency and will refuse to step dowm....abi no be una again?
The highest position ibos got under pdp was senate president and within a space of 4 years we had 5 senate presidents, all ibos, all from different states.....you people are poor politicians....leave politics to those that know how to play it and face your trading.... your political miscalculations is becoming too embarrassing

This is the bitter truth. Umahi that they were hailing before immediately became their enemy after he decamped to APC. As if he decamped together with all the projects he did for Ebonyi

Who is hailing umai, umai is hailing himself together with his urchins.

I strongly think it's because he's not PDP and even if he secured the APC ticket, they still won't support or vote for him.

Guy,stop this nonsense.just because ur receiving small change from him cannot make you to come here deceiving people,. I Strongly believe you know what he can do and undo.
Am not campaigning for anyone but if APC produce some one like Anyim ,peter obi or Ngige,he will have full support from his people.
So, forget about playing victim because of party

Obi and umahi are no match.obi is our choice,we know what we want, igbos are not zombies, but if apc decide to anoint umahi,he is still better than the sick jagaban of corruption and the erand boy and motivational speaker osinbajo.

Honestly, I love Peter obi too and he is someone I would love to see as president of Nigeria. But can he win? That’s my concern. It’s not only igbos that will vote for him. We live in a country that is too ethnocentric and the sentiments against Peter obi is very high up north. We would have to reach out to convince others to vote for him otherwise I don’t see him winning. This is the sad reality.

so that SE people only abuse and your people don't respond or abuse back?. I remember how happy so many of you were when an Oba in Lagos said he will throw People from SE into lagoon if they don't vote for his preferred candidate in 2015 presidential election.
Re: SE Presidency: Why Not David Umahi? by Olakunleyakub(m): 7:37am On Feb 04, 2022
Because he is in APC he will surely loose in the east while the PDP Igbo candidate wl win in the east and the north is not certain for anybody if it is two Igbo candidate facing each other for the presidency.

So no political parties want to loose power to the opposition because of Igbo presidency and that is the dilema of both PDP and APC now.

Walohi I don't have issue with southeast presidency but it is difficult to sell at the moment especially for both biggest political parties.
PDP can still try it but am not sure APC can ever try it.

U have no point!

I asked u to state reasons why u said an igbo candidacy isn’t sellable and you’re here beating around the bush and pointing me to a screenshot only God knows who is behind that handle to have made such generalized pronouncement...
Re: SE Presidency: Why Not David Umahi? by NGpatriot: 7:40am On Feb 04, 2022
Seriously, this message flew over their heads, as usual, this thread is about expanding your horizon and multiplying your chances and casting a wider net to achieve the same goal.

What's wrong with having 2 hopefuls within both major parties? Or is it just that you prefer a PDP Igbo president over an APC igbo president.?

I bet if Peter Obi decamp tomorrow and contest under the APC banner, his support in the SE go dry up fast fast..

SE politics is the most self-destructive, clannish and puerile, no sensible or cohesive strategy, just tribalism, emotions and petty sentiments and this is why they always end up with nothing..

Sad.......

I have stated my reasons. How would Igbo campaign in North? Are they no longer an Almajiri and poorest region in the country?

How would Igbo convinced the Yoruba's that they are not longer Hausa/Fulani slaves, that the Yoruba Muslim slang was inspired by Meth drug? That SW is no longer Skull mining headquarters?

How about SS region, Ijaw are no longer Ogogoro drinker, Wike is no longer Wicked and Reno has been forgiven ?

2 years ago, I said 2023 would be a great opportunity for SE to listen to all the wack songs they have been releasing but have no opportunity of listening to them.

Here you go

When you mention yorubas, do you mean the ones that are for a particular candidate? Because I have seen some who don’t mind voting an igbo person

What is it with these people?

Why not Umahi?

Why not Obi?

Why not Anyim?

I wonder if these people understand that it is the party that chooses its candidates and not the general public?

Allow the candidates to make their case with their party , and if their party chooses them, thats when you now ask the people to support them

This is putting the cart before the Horse

Which people?

Oga I have also seen northerners campaign against power given to either SW or SE. some in this category are even considerate to agree that it should be SS instead while the hardliners think it shouldn’t even leave the north. Bros, forget oh
