There is no such job as a gate man in the US. US houses don't even have gates like Nigerian houses, so where will anyone need a gateman?

Do you mean a security guard? Businesses, facilities and malls are the ones that mainly hire security guards and they don't call them gateman in the US. Some of these security guards make more money than bank managers in the US, let alone a bank manager in Nigeria, depending on his level of security clearance.

But no one born in city and schooled in City in Nigeria will chose West any time,even if he is poor. Because he stands the chance of befriending white friend. So anything would be exposed to him.

I've not been to US but seriously it is highly overrated for someone to be comparing this thing. What people don't know is that your Prestige in the society you wake up everyday is what really gives people satisfaction and happiness not really where you stay or the money in your pocket.
