heniford2:Obviously your stance doesn’t correlate to what I’m saying. Picture this; Most local produce consumed within Nigeria are mainly from Benue State. Talk about Yams, Cassava, Potatoes, Tomatoes, Onions etc.. etc.. Many of those Agro farmers deal with big corporations in Nigeria. The Rice pyramids were from Benue states( I stand to be corrected) but why is their economy a rollacoaster?? |

I keep telling you that ibo will bring different fake news out. Do not mind them. They are useless. Look at the truth and facts below. This is based on GDP. So, they just listed the states ....based on what criteria. Very useless post sponsored by ibo. This is the 2020 Nigerian states GDP. Ebonyi cannot sustain itself. Look at the position at 34. Enugu too cannot sustain itself at position 25. In SW, only Ekiti state cannot sustain itself. How can they include Ondo that is trying to build a seaport? Dem head no correct with this report. Ondo is championing medical cannabis. This article was sponsored. Lol. Ibo cannot be the president of Nigeria with these pranks. Every time before elections, they bring crazy news to disgrace other southern Nigeria. It is not good. Ibo is terrible and disgusting. But we will keep correcting them. I don't hate ibo, but this is another example of how bad the ibos have hijacked the region. Shame on the good ibos for allowing these bad ones. Crazy people, Delta has the third GDP in Nigeria. is included in the fake report. Mofos!!! They even included Akwa Ibom which is the 8th. Werey!!! Shagishagi People. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Nigerian_states_by_GDP In my opinion, only Lagos and Rivers can survive without FG. Take it or leave. Even the GDP of Lagos has increased tremendously in the last 12 months. By the time the railway system in Lagos is completed, its GDP is on the way to "double double" 3 Likes

Parrot69:reason is the state government is not involved in it the don't tax and the see it as a normal farm business take a look at some Asia country like Philippines that depends on Agric to survive its economy the are doing fine, the state government should be involve in it create seriously security structure and market it more improvement state exporting connect to local and international bodies to create industries that will employ your youth and then tax it to generate money in it. |

ibechris:Will you shut your dirty mouth. Stop comparing igbos with chinese and lebanese. Igbos are mainly economy refugees who leave their backward region to do mostly petty trading in other regions. Chinese and lebanese that come to Nigeria are big businessmen with solid and fat capital. Have you ever seen a chinese hawking gala on the streets of lagos, or a lebanese selling okrika in ibadan? So never you in your life compare igbos with chinese. Igbos are mainly economic refugees 1 Like |

do4luv14: Please, explain your comment. Herdsmen were not a problem in Benue as of 2011. I spent some years in Benue and visited many parts of the state. I witnessed hunger in the state. No man is an island. Benue cannot farm all the salt, oil, Maggi, fish and meat needed for Benue people. Money is needed to supplement Benue farming to balance the standard of living in the state. No factories for Benue youths to do menial jobs. It is in Benue that I saw more than two guys using one Honda Cube motorcycle (Okada) as a means of livelihood. One person uses the motorcycle in the morning, the second person will use the same bike in the afternoon and another person will use it in the evening. I saw different sets of boys doing it. I know that Benue is the food basket of the nation, and I already said it in my first comment. Benue is blessed with fertile land. Many States in Igbo land witness more rainfall than Benue, yet Benue land is more fertile than those states. But farming is not enough. Herdsmen are truly a problem to farmers everywhere, but herdsmen are not responsible for the poor economy in Benue. Benue has not been doing well in internal revenues. |
