Delta? An oil producing state? I can understand that of Bayelsa, it shouldn't have been a state after all but Delta?

Well, this is the opinion of one newspaper.

Will you shut your dirty mouth. Stop comparing igbos with chinese and lebanese. Igbos are mainly economy refugees who leave their backward region to do mostly petty trading in other regions. Chinese and lebanese that come to Nigeria are big businessmen with solid and fat capital. Have you ever seen a chinese hawking gala on the streets of lagos, or a lebanese selling okrika in ibadan? So never you in your life compare igbos with chinese. Igbos are mainly economic refugees
you speak like a kid who just bought a new toy newly, if igbos are hustling in lagos selling gala, okrike and is building a house in his state is that not development undecided you that is mocking him yet your still squirting in you great grand father mod house who is better inbtwn undecided

Three of our oyel states are there, it's a big shame that even the highest oil and gas producing state in the federation is among

It is no coincidence. The oil is meant for the center and is to be shared by all.
In present day Nigeria, being an oil producing state doesn't connote progress.

We are clamoring for Igbo nation because we want maximum utility of our large gas deposit.

I was surprised about Delta too; however, we need to look at their IGR to reach a true conclusion on this.

Over 90 % Nigerian GDP is from non-oil activities. Oil contributes only a paltry 10% and that revenue goes most pot bellies of the ruling class and their allies in the civil service. South East still contributes in that respect.

Some of you can't differentiate between simple economic terms but will open their mouth to talk rubbish.

Na Lie. South East contribute zero to the Economy. They are being spoon fed with the resources from the North, West and South South.

as yourself why do dangote will leave North and be build Refinary in Lagos the goal is not where you migrate the goal is home, you guys do travel to Canada to settle down or UK to cruise but igbo man leaving Nigeria to this same country i mention for money having one goal in heart to come back develop his home land know that him staying home alot of the said igbo man knows what he knows so he moves from Abia to ZAMAFARA STATE where he hardly see an igbo who will compete with him and hustle hardly that's the reason and that's why every festival period you see igbos coming back to home to establish something home building and business wise.

Funny thing delta, bayelsa, akwa ibom, ondo contribute more to sustain this country than vice versa.

The stat nor get head at all!! Only Lagos, and Rivers is ahead of Delta. We know Delta is a very corrupt state but she can sustain her self in case of no federal allocation.

That's what people don't get. We're doing fine without it.

Federal allocation is being spent by individuals and the taxes paid in aba by businesses is wild, you'd never know how much in abia state you have to see it for yourself.

schools in Abia are better off than many states oga.Tge state government handed over many to there former religious owners to focus on those left and also built 3 model schools.

stop all this una 2nd hand reports.

Abia was already paying the minimum wage to most of its civil servants before Buhari became president. We pay better than most state's in Nigeria- that should tell you something

Which schools? Early learning?

For your information, I lived in Aba for almost a decade. So, I am not given you a second hand report but report from what I saw and experienced.

Up till this moment, salaries of teachers are yet to be paid. I lie?

Abia state is the worst in the whole of Southern Nigeria.
