He Doesn’t Score In Big Games-
Italian Journalist Blast Victor
Osimhen

“He will have to overcome himself because so far
against the big teams, in the few occasions he has had,
he has had little impact. He scored last season against
Lazio and Atalanta, he got a penalty against Juventus but
he misses the shot in the big matches, in the days that
they count more. Against Inter, Victor suffered both in
the draw last season at Estadio Maradona and at San
Siro this season. “

You make a lot of good points and yes the situation in Nigeria is very bad, but in terms of finding something to eat especially in rural areas you rarely hear of people going hungry because of sustenance farming which can give you cassava products like garri, fufu and other crops like millet, maize to mention a few. Food crisis that people speak about is mostly caused by farmers inability to farm because of banditry and boko haram.

The reason why foodstuff cost so much in the city is because we haven't figured out a cost effective way to transport and store perishables to the market before most of it goes bad.

Stormtrooper11:

undecided That's a fallacy.

Lol, so no one in the entire thread and the entire country uses those terms except Komekn? You just insinuated that Nigerians have poor vocabulary. I hope Komekn also uses German terms in his write-ups cos I'm the guy fond of doing that here.

Why? Because Nigeria is a developed country? The fact is you don't know anything about the poor peeps in the trenches. You prolly live in a city. Tell me how many Nigerians have access to good water supply? If we should go by your analogy, then Nigerians got no reason whatsoever to complain about the state of affairs.

Lol. Please, just stop tryna cover up this. Nigeria got alotta poor citizens let's stop acting like everything is going smoothly. That's a disservice to our Nigerian people. I'm surprised you're actin like a government agent. Just because you're living comfortably does not mean others are living that way.

I don't remember comparing country currencies. I compared the standards of living.

I actually like Sadiq more than Onuachu because I believe Sadiq offers more than him.. But Onuachu is more of a prolific scorer.. He would do better as an impact sub in crunch moment than Sadiq, so I'd definitely like to see him back..
As for Olayinka,I'm not sorry to say that I don't rate him that highly, and he isn't better than the wingers in the list.

Bonke is there by virtue of him knowing how to play the kind of gidigbo football Ghana might want to play against us grin

"For the person who hates, you can stand up and see a person and that person can be beautiful, and you will call them ugly. For the person who hates, the beautiful becomes ugly and the ugly becomes beautiful" - MLK

This is my own version of that quote for him:
"For the person with strong bias and a pretentious sense of intelligence and superior values, you can stand up and see a situation and that situation can be black, and you will call it white. For the person with strong bias and a pretentious sense of intelligence and superior values, white becomes black and the black becomes white"

NFF General Secretary, Dr Mohammed Sanusi, in response said: “We sent in the application on Wednesday night after putting all the necessary documentation together. We are happy to receive the approval today
.

I said this earlier, a player commits to a new National team, he sends his written letter of change of allegiance/ nationality CONFIRMATION. It is then the duty of the national football association to submit the application after completing all due diligence to FIFA.

Once again Ovie and Ademola made that commitment over three years ago. But the NFF did NOTHING I wonder why ❓ But have been giving false narratives that the English FA is delaying approval. Utter balderdash.

We then have some highly ignorant and misguided individuals promoting that narrative right here.

FYI Ovie and Ademola went on trials for Nigeria U17 but were rejected by the NFF after high recommendations by the coordinator in the UK .

Eberechi Eze made commitment to Nigeria but they left him in the dark for three year's. He then decided to play U21 for England.

The reality is there is no integrity in the NFF add to all that Godfatherism, Nepotism, Corruption, Favouritism and crass Incompetence.

And all this is not surprising to me AT ALL
I'm not interested in all these nonsense Epistles you put up here. Can you prove it that Lookman made his commitment 3 years ago?

And as for Eze, what was his latest response when he was questioned on his switch of nationality?

You just like disgracing yourself here

stop saying nonsense and see this report from the bbc

Having represented England at Under-19, Under-20 and Under-21 level, Lookman will be looking to play for the West African nation in major tournaments like the Africa Cup of Nations and the Fifa World Cup.

But the process to get him to switch international allegiance began in 2020 when the team secretary Dayo Enebi prepared all the required documents on the NFF's part.

However, the application suffered a long delay due to the player's inability to sort out his Nigerian passport aa well as his failure to provide a written request for a change of association in line with Fifa regulations.

Lookman only completed the paperwork this week which enabled the NFF to file a fast track application for his clearance.
thank you.. Dude was shouting all over here blaming the NFF

Majority of Nigerians have access and can afford quality food daily...

KFC and some other restaurants are foreign owned restaurants...

Nigerian owned restaurants are cheaper...

smallscale restaurants are cheaper and affordable..

at least 12 years ago when I was in University, I spent less than ₦700 in total on 3 square meals daily..

there are restaurants where you can spend less than ₦700 per day and eat 3 square high quality meals ..
Most of those 700 naira buka stores would be closed down if NAFDAC was working with US standards. Nigeria simply can't afford that life. Look at the people who operate those shops, why do you think they're still poor?

No need redefining a fact. let's go back to soccer.

I did not insinuate that Nigerians have poor vocabulary and using terms like "alotta" "em" "aint is very bad vocabulary.. In the movie Akeelah and the Bee, Laurence Fishburne kept correcting Akeelah anytime she used such words... so only unserious and irresponsible people use such words..

millions of Nigerians have access to good water supply.

There is difference between been financially poor and been food poor or agro poor...

"poor" people in Nigeria and many other African countries can afford 3 square meals daily... so in reality, they are not "poor" people because "poor" people can't afford 3 square meals...
