[s] abuzz33:[/s] Now, I totally agree that you deliberately give deceptive advice. How many open air concerts have you seen in Nigeria even in Lagos or Abuja? How many hotels in Awka are of Agulu Lake standard to accommodate10,000 guests? The Awka International convention center was designed with a foyer front area with sitting capacity of 2,000 guests for outdoor events. So why use the area mapped out for a 4 -5 star hotel for another "outdoor" event area when we know such will rarely happen if ever. Typical outdoor events in Nigeria are church crusades that typically occurs in their prayer mountains , open school soccer fields/playground or in community squares etc. Moreover, the best hotels in Awka which are the new Bon Hotel, Maxbe, Geneva hotel, parktonian and Geogold hotels cannot compare to the Agulu Lake hotel in style and comfort of a well built hotel. Their combined capacity can barely accomodate 950 guests not to nention 10,000. The Awka International Conference Center deserves a stand-alone 4 star hotel whose staff would also maintain the edifice as part of the hotel complex. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

OreMI22:Agulu lake lake was taken over by Golden Tulip, Onitsha hotel abandoned. Onitsha Mall was was funded by African Capital Alliance, Awka and Nnewi malls abandoned. Airport and conference center skyrocketed debt by 1700%. It's not about what is deserved but what you can afford.

Basil the envious bitter frustrated nsukka miscreant, go and face your backward enugu state and your fat incompetent governor Ugwuanyi who has wasted almost 8yrs without any project, despite the fact that enugu state debt burden is thrice higher than that of Anambra debt FYI: Agulu Lake resort was built by Anambra and handed over to Golden Tulip for management, Onitsha mall is another project funded by Anambra State government and handed over to Broll for management. Anambra international airport and Awka ICC are the two biggest infrastructural developments in the history of igboland. Anambra shall continue to lead the way in southeast while you will continue to be in pains, envy and bitterness [s] Ogbuefi2020:[/s] What project did your backward enugu state did with these monies. You don't even have common water in Enugu township. 5 Likes

All the advice you keeping giving here should be of great deal to Enugu people but hell no, all una eyes are just fixed on one state while una own are decaying to alladin pieces. Until Anambra state get a decisive government ( which I don't see ) you guys over bearing attitude will never be contained. Someone needs to hit you guys with the hard truth and nothing but hard one...face your state. We need a new Government house, house of assembly around that area. The governors lodge at amawbia has outlived its usefulness. I think Peter obi govt made plans to relocate govt house around there with the ill fated green wood city. 3 Likes 1 Share |

OreMI22: You can make a point without insults but it shows the low class of character you are. About outdoor events, people do not stage concerts under foyers, they stage it on fields. That is one. Two is that there are over 200 hotels in Awka and Environs with capacity for 10,000 guests. Its not even about quality because not everyone that goes for an event in Abuja lodges at Transcorp Hilton. Vertex View, Trigpoint, Don Santos, Bon Hotels, La Luna, Geneva, Walford Blu, Best Western Meloch, Hilton, King David, Cihcotel, Double Bliss, Finotel all have decent lodging facility. Three is that the state government spent billions on Agulu Lake Hotel. Why abandon it when half the time it is three quarters empty of guests due to its remote location? The ICC will be a pipeline for premium guests to stay in that hotel and the government needs to clean up Zik Avenue as the main access route to the ICC. When Agulu Lake Hotel gets fully booked there is enough land there to expand it. 4 Likes |

Soludo first agenda should be to address the security lapses at Anambra border Communities with Imo state. He can only rule over human not corpses. All these every week invasion at border Communities is getting irritating day by day. Obiano is rounding up and has lost touch with realities. 1 Like |

ebufa: I don't think that's correct. Remember he is from PDP. And , let's be honest , Ike Obosi is a big fish that understand governance with precision. He probably feel certain way playing second fiddle to Madam Ezekwesili. But , if he truly want to succeed Soludo then he really needs to befriend Soludo's government or get a top federal appointment if PDP wins presidential elections. 1 Like |

I know you people will come for my head but I think we should start taking some of this criticisms seriously. People are complaining bitterly about this airport. All we want is the best for Anambra when the government gets it wrong we call them out let's stop covering things up, the commissioner for works executed a poor job on that airport especially when there's no ceiling and to think he's an engineer makes the matter worse.

Ceegar01:Everyone knows the airport is still work in progress. Would you rather the Gov does not open the airport for operations until full completion and stand the risk of it being abandoned by the next government or open it as right now while work is still going. Did anyone say the airport has been completed. I wonder why people who get poor services from most Nigeria airports will come and complain about Anambra airport that is still being developed. Besides why bring up one negative comment over many positive comments about the airport or you just spent time on facebook searching for a negative comment to post. Please dont distract us 9 Likes 1 Share |

Ceegar01: I think the commissioner of works has got to be one of the most unserious and heavily called out commissioner in this dispensation. The complaints from diff quarters has it that the dude no sabi work to the extent that the road leading to his ministry is in ‘an Abeg condition’. This is embarrassing to say d least...this pics are already circulating on all SM platforms. I know works are still ongoing but don’t give enemies room to mock at us..they are waiting and watching for a small mistake to be done so that dey can blow the covers |
