So you have to give the Nigerian people due credit there beyond the population arguement.
Also not all sme's are equal or of the same value. Aba for instance produces almost everything you can think of from clothes to shoes, bags, etc. but with substandard materials (which is what they have). They rebrand them and sell, not just to Nigerians but outside Nigeria, while they label them with the name of foreign labels or countries most time.

nobody said population growth alone is the end all be all of population growth....you can theoretically have a 6% economic growth but a 7% Population growth.... So although your economy might look like its growing, when in actual fact per capita its getting poorer....
