SA will be worse than Nigeria if it had 3x of Nigeria's population right now.

If you have a population that maybe rely on hunting or basic livestock majorly, where subsistence farming employs 60% of the working population and the others are unemployed, yet they are 200 million people. Would they still have a high GDP?

Read properly Sammy, SAs GDP per capita is 3 times higher than Nigeria....it's not smaller wink

SA is the world most unequal country, with escalating capital flight, now that right there is the truth you should be more focused on.

P.s oh i forgot,SA is also very poor,so yeah go figure.
Nigeria has averaged a poor 2.5% economic growth over the last 10 years.....just slightly better than SA....However Nigeria's population is growing by 2.5% per annum while SAs population is growing at only 1.3%.....meaning even with our economic struggles our GDP per capita has increased while yours has stagnated.

Also SA is a upper middle income country, Nigeria is lower middle income country

Always you know someone or it's about your friend, from your own comments it's obvious you and your friends have some criminal aura surrounding you and that's what's preventing people from treatimg you well.

Sometimes you need to have a personal introspection, check yourself and stop blaming people for your bad attitude.

And which Francophone countries are you talking about?

If I were you I would have left Ghana long time. Why waste your time in a country you hate?
what else do you have to say as a Ghanaian. Do you even have the brain to dissect what I posted there. As a Ghanaian you're supposed to talk then think cos that's how you people are wired. There's a disconnect between your brain and what comes out of your mouth. Anybody with even Lizard brain can attest to the fact that I've stated what I do but you as a cursed Ghanaian who sees no good in Anybody or yourself will always mention criminal cos it's a catchphrase to an unsophisticated humanoid that still stuck in the past

pls, trash the thought, SA is going down economically, even Nigeria at it's recession-plaqued economics is still better than ur economy in the last ten years.

You called Nigeria's economic growth in the last decade poor at 2.5% averaged, claiming to be slightly better than SA's? No, SA disappoints u by averaging 0.69%

nigeria's education may be the cheapest, it also the most useless. Are you aware of DHL MBAs? People register for MBA courses and never step into a class but get their certificates and stuff by DHL?

Most of the public universities in Nigeria are not even fit for human habitation. They have been neglected and very shabby.

Is not better to charge a reasonable fee and get the system moving well, than to charge low fees and provide facilities and standards that are crap? Most of the lecturers in your public institutions are very corrupt

Why are you speculating? Let's try to be factual, brother. In this time of age, no country with 200m+ relies on the emboldened - unless it's in the extreme spectrum of illiteracy.

But let's assume it is true, if that is the case, then there will be no dynamics in GDP growth, If! There is a large percentage of subsistence farmers growing and consuming their own products - that will not account in the GDP figure. However, large-scale production, with the grandness that deserves exportation, is a no-brainer that the revenue will trigger the sudden hike in GDP.
Let's assume that 60% of the working population contributes to 20% of the actual GDP - in a 200m populated country. Do you think the results will be the same in a different country with the same employment rate, but a different population?

SA is not up to 100m, no insurgency, yet their crime rate is more than Nigeria's and death rate is only 2/1000 below Nigeria's.

No Economic sabotage but a larger amount of their population want a service-oriented govt where govt provide things for them without doing much in returns.

Then again the computer language flew over your head angry cheesy grin cheesy... Short hands(eg, I dey come "I am coming", dat "that" etc) is what the news was talking about.

Example: when Over 4000 students writes an extrance exams to a Law school that can only admit less than 500 students what do you think will happen? that isn't the kind of mass failure you know.. Olodo

Also about the primary 2 survey, like what was the researcher expecting? in Goverment schools, from KG to primary 3 pupils are taught in the first language(L1), L2 is only introduced to them from Primary 4 so why would anybody think of doing such research in lower primary? It's only the Private schools that teaches in English right from KG

60% more or less of the entire continent; talk of Brazil, Canada, Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia, Tunisia, SA... And many more. But I don't get the importance of that question.

Smaller countries can only be advantageous if per capita is something to go by.

nah, I'm talking about Nigeria, in reference to African countries.... Nations with similarities in context to development, not the like of Canada and co.
