The difference is clear in terms of orderliness.
What is responsible for the obstreperous nature of Lagos today?

I don't want any excuses.

Of all the pictures of present-day Lagos out there, you had to pick an unflattering one? What's your real agenda?

Overpopulation.

God1000:
does size really matter? Lagos state has money to build world class infrastructure that will cater for all despite the high population

And where will they accommodate all that population? In the air?

'Undeveloped parts' how? You showed pictures of Lagos traffic and you are calling that 'undeveloped parts'? Is there developed and undeveloped traffic anywhere in the world? Just come out and tell us your real agenda oga. No need to disguise.

If they cannot develop the small size and make it orderly, how can they build a large landmass?

my point is that you can't just select few developed places with beautiful traffic while ignoring the nearly 70-80 percent with terrible traffic

Ibos destroyed the orderliness of lagos by hawking gala between the cars, putting okrikas by the roadside and building quack container shops on every available space.

Oripelebe jumping in my mention. They know I'm right.

The truth is his agenda.

The main cause of traffic in Lagos are the Okadas , Danfos and Moliue. They don't adhere to traffic regulations for anything. . Go to Ojuelegba , Oshodi and every hub. U will see how these dnafos park on a two lane to create one lane. Ikotun is worse.

Disregard for laws is the major cause of hold up.

I know bad roads is among bur the main cause is what I said above

Your picture of "modern" Lagos isn't exactly recent. That picture is at least 15 years old.

Like someone said, come out and state your real agenda.

cool

Population explosion

Urban rural migration( everyone wants to live in Lagos)

Wickedness of not granting Lagos Special Status with Special Allocation to Carter for massive infrastructural renovation of former abandoned FCT projects

O.P why not show this New Oshodi pics... Must we always portray ourselves in bad light

Even Carter Bridge is still orderly and now looks modern

⏩⏩Uncontrolled birthrate, rural urban
migration, poor planning & corruption.

Furthermore, the arbokis have destroyed
their region with fanaticism and crime
and all there illiterate youth are all
relocating to Lagos to come and ride
Okada or keke.

They don't add value
to the economy of Lagos as they don't
pay tax, don't rent house, defecate
anywhere, pisz anywhere before prayers,
don't go to school.

Then to worsen matters, a northern
beggar in Lagos will have 3 wives and 14 children who he has no plans to feed or train.

Graduates also crowd the city for
the elusive jobs.

Finally Lagos is limited in size, so the
crowding keeps worsening...❌❌❌❌

Is the population of Lagos in 1960 same as its population today?

Secondly with regards to orderliness, there is no orderly traffic in the world.

You are taking a snapshot of one segment of traffic on a particular road and juxtaposing it to another segment on a different road with a timeframe gap of almost 60 years!

Not a fair comparison. angry

This is before Nigerians became "wiser", "smarter" and sharp. An average Nigerian thinks he is smart not knowing that he is fooling himself.
