@Aliyu40 thanks for the reply, the Immigration lawyer who put in the application for us as at then did confirm its in d Immigration law and she did quote the law in the application as well and please can you try and expanciate more on what you mean by fair refusal. I just want to know if we have an edge appealing, thanks. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by giselle237: 4:12am On Feb 16, 2022 |
Lexyp:little or no edge. Refusal letter is very explanatory, nothing to add. Go on the spousal visa thread for more insight. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Aliyu40: 4:35am On Feb 16, 2022 |
Lexyp: The lawyer may have just been interested in taking money from you. That law is for EXTREME/EXCEPTIONAL circumstances, even at that VERY DIFFICULT to get. Having a child is no reason not to meet the financial requirements. I don't believe you have any chance of appeal. The spouse visa thread helped me a lot when I applied, study the thread. The UK spouse needs a job or the required savings, there's no way out. A fair refusal means you do not meet all of the requirements for the visa. Your refusal was not because of an error on their part. |

Good morning. Please I have a sister coming to the UK next week and she is fully vaccinated in Nigeria. She is coming with Qatar Airways. I read on UK Government website that if you are fully vaccinated you don't need to pre-departure test again when coming to UK and you don't need to book Day 2 test before coming to UK. Please is this information right?

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by DareFerd: 10:42am On Feb 16, 2022 |
Greetings everyone; please did anybody get this kind of message? What does it mean? Dear customer Thank you for your enquiry Your visa application is still currently being processed and there has been considerable progress with your case. I have escalated this to the appropriate entry clearance officer. This means you will receive your visa decision and passport as soon as possible. If you require your passport and/or documents back immediately for travel or emergency, you are free to withdraw by making a request via the Visits.UKCustomerEnquiries@fco.gov.uk email. Please note however that this will cancel the application and we will be unable to refund you. If your passport is currently in a red list country, please enquire with your VAC regarding possible temporarily withdrawal of your passport. Please note some red list VACs are currently closed and the passports will not be able to be submitted or retrieved until the ban is lifted. Kind Regards UK VISA AND IMMIGRATION (UKVI) |

graceodini: That uk.gov website crashed on the 11.02.2022 at 4am like NIMC(NIN). It is undergoing maintenance. However, Ask you sister to carry along her vaccination card and Passenger locator form. She would be asked those at departing Airport in Nigeria, Qatar and when she arrives UK. When the UK.gov site is done with maintenance there maybe no covid rules at all. |

Aliyu40: Hi Aliyu, If she has her marriage certificate then you can add that too. Add pictures of her and your Dad. Your dad is also a home tie for your mum, imply it in your letter. Does your brother still live at home or near home, include it if it's the case. |

Good Evening everyone, I've been a silent reader. I applied for a 6months uk visa since 22november 2021 but got a refusal letter yesterday. I am really dumbfonded cos i ensure i adhere to all the scopes gathered from here . I am self employed, earn 400k monthly and i ensure no lodgement and i ensure my monthly expenses did not exceed 120k... My closing balance was about £5403 and i stated in the application form form that my monthly expenses is £180 and the trip would cost me £1300. but to my surprise, it looked asif the ECO was drunk or too hard drugs when treatn my application. Kindly find attached the refusal letter and you advise will be appreciated .Cc. justwise ,gisselle and other intelligent people ... Thanks

Jenireva1:happnd to someone here. He raise da formal complaint and told them they had erred by receiving fees for 2 yrs and putting 6 months visa. After a while, he was reached out to and 2 yrs visa affixed. Go to part 4 and find the op |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by leef2022: 8:48pm On Feb 16, 2022 |
Jenireva1: Well, that is a very possible scenario, when submitting the application somewhere in it, parts reads; that if an applicant applied for a long term visiting visa and the eco determines that was not necessary, the applicant could be issued a short-term visiting visa and is not entitled to a refund of fees paid for the long-term. |
