They are enjoying the weather and perhaps their ladies.

Even in the so-called peace keeping, they are not allowed to side any group and use their weapons, unless for self defence

Right now I'd take the troops to help us in the fight against insurgency if we had the option and I had a say. Our generals are more interested in looting like the politicians.

I hope the Malians will be able to fight for them. For those of u with short term memory; the jihadists nearly ran over the entire country until the French soldiers came in and liberated them.
I hope the Malian military know what they are doing. Patriotism and National sentiments are double edged swords.

When you it that way, you absolve the local actors of all blames, regardless of indicators that define mass poverty, illiteracy and Jihadi orientation as stimuli for terrorism and even Coup d' etat in Africa. 9 whole years, yet they still couldn't defeat uncoordinated African terrorists.

There's no point in their continued stay. Coz it's costing the Malians �� too much money to retain them in their borders.

If France and her allies did not invade Libya, there wouldn’t be problem of Terrorists in West Africa.
Those people got free weapons from Libya as Mali and Niger joined pro-Gadaffi after France, Qatar etc poured weapons to Libya and destroyed Libya.

France came to Mail to steal Mali resources.

You are right but the sequence is wrong. French aided terrorist overrun Mali then the French government offer to help fight these same terrorist.
Forget all this fight against terrorist, it is a never ending cycle of politics and economics. Las Las, na God go judge all of us.

Most weapons littering African conflict zones are they not manufactured by these so called super powers or their allied countries? Do you think they don't know how or when it gets to Africa? Forget this chaotic time we live in o!

Besides as the French are leaving the Russians are already on ground, and they don't hide under any pretence of aiding or helping you for free. Their presence is purely transactional, you just have to weigh the cost and benefits to your country and put your National interest and security first.

French army were stationed in bukina Faso and mali.and Boko Haram evolved to ISWAP west African and received surplus supplies through routes that cut across Mali.

Go and check the areas they occupied, they would have impregnated a lot of women. That region will have a significant number of mixed breeds in the future.

That's the trademark of soldiers, but it's evil to lure poor women to bed in exchange for food and water as it is in many IDP camps across Borno and Nigeria's north.

You think they are there to help you? No, it doesn't work that way. They are there for their own interests, which include not allowing your country to have rest of mind and opportunity to prosper since that would reduce flow of resources out from Africa to the West. France will be the no 1 international beneficiary if Nigeria break up. That will give them more control of Ecowas region.
