Sorry about that. It’s part of the terms and conditions that if they don’t deem you to be a frequent flyer, they can give you a lower duration . Did she include her frequency plans? She can make a complaint and if no mercy, use this 6 month visa twice and renew asap. Jenireva1: 1 Like |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by AmeliaT: 6:16pm On Feb 17, 2022 |
Sorry about this. The monthly expenditure is just too low. It’s self explanatory. It looks like a well coached application. How many people in lagos with a family spend just £180 a month but still afford to travel. Sorry doesn’t add up. Your balance is also different to what you declared on the form. Use Oanda converter next time. What’s your travel history like? I suggest you build that first and then reapply. My husband had large deposits and honestly just filled the form out organically. We didn’t discover nairaland until after the application but because he has extensive travel history, I believe it helped his case and he had good finances. I believe they create a profile of you based on your answers just like the Americans but they go a step further to Audit your documents to check for compliance and synergy. All the best, next time omogekaffy: 2 Likes |

You do not need any of those for your school application nor visa, but I will recommend you get the police clearance report if you can as some jobs require it as part of their documentation in the UK. It is done in Alabgon, Lagos. PS: Not compulsory though. cliqtips: |

Hello friends, I have been following threads on this platform concerning UK universities and travel advices for a while, I must say I have silently learnt a lot from everyone. Please and please, I need your help and advice from time to time, as I have finally begun processing my journey. So, I have gotten two offers. Glasgow Caledonian University and Derby university. Please, I need near accurate advice on the following ; Which is most preferable between the above mentioned universities in terms of environment and opportunities, security and affordability? Second, I intend using my waec cert for English Proficiency visa purpose, but the date of birth on my waec cert differ from that on my international passport. Please, does this mean any danger and how can I resolve it asap? Kind response and advice please. God bless you all. |

AmeliaT: Thank you Amelia for your response... Well my monthly expenditure is not that low we r talking of about £180 which is almost 100k a month... My wife also have a good job and supports the family too... concerning the saving , the ECO made a mistake in my application... I disclosed 5403 but the ECo said 3403... i am not sure the ECo carefully treated my application. |

You have case and a score for the ECO to settle. Based on your actual disposed balance of 5403 as against ECO stated balance of 3403 . You can use this valid error to turn the case to your favor. You can appeal for the ECO to review your stated balance as against what he stated, that it doesn't correlate. That you seek that your application to be readdress omogekaffy: 3 Likes |

Sure! /www. tradesystem. gov. ng Click on applicant, fill in all the information. Attach your passport, visa and ticket. Select the bank you want and also include written instruction for the bank to debit you for the amount stated. Once done, forward the screenshot of application and confirmation email to your relationship manager to facilitate. You can keep tracking to see as it moves from reviewer to supervisor to approved. Then, just keep your fingers crossed and pray. Make sure you do the application 14 days before the trip so you have enough time because even after approval, there's a queue for disbursement. Leef shared these tips and I just latched on to what he said. My request was approved the next day while my husband is still waiting because his RMs are just working in slowmo. Cheers! ikaonigent: 1 Like |

You can use any airline as long as they end up in the UK. I only use Virgin as I prefer direct flights even though they are more expensive. A friend bought Royal Air Maroc and then they stopped them from flying to the UK. She had to hustle for a refund etc. Emirates also had some drama. So, those are the risks with non direct flights. But feel free to use any. Do note however that the flights that layover at airports in Europe require Schenghen transit- KLM, Air france, Lufthansa etc unless you have an American visa or Canadian PR etc. I classify my flights using these four tiers. 1. Direct and pricey- BA, Virgin 2. Non Direct which requires Transit visa- KLM, Air france, Lufthansa 3. "Cheap" Non Direct but no transit visa required- Kenya, Ethiopia, Rwandair, Egypt Air, Royal Air Maroc 4. Non Direct but no transit visa required (more expensive than above)- Emirates, Qatar, Turkish Ruby105: |

Your surest best is to re- apply and address all what ECo stated in your refusal letter and tackle them with the evidence of what you filled in your VAF along with your refusal letter. Last time I checked there's no appeal or adminstrative review for tourist visa anymore and if you sent a compliant email huh that take forever and there's no positive response from them. Well you can complaint and reapply straight The same thing happened to my wife and kids application too. omogekaffy: |

Hello everyone, Please I need a quick advice. I have filled my uk tourist visa application but yet to submit and I have some concern about the proof of fund. I own a company and I earn about 5ook every month even though I spend more than that monthly. In the application I said will spend about 2.4 millin for the trip and I will be contributing 6ook from my personal account to the trip while my company which I am the sole proprietor of will support with 1.8m. The question is, do have to maintain more than 6ook in my personal account and more than 1.8m in my business account for about 30 days before submitting the application? Is the proportion of contribution good enough? Is there anything I’m missing out? |
