PS: I just played some ‘characters’ above. Anyhow you want it to be, try to be part of the sponsor (a co-sponsor), because you’re like ‘old enough’ to have ‘sVe enough’. And don’t forget to remove the abroad people from the picture.

IELTS SOLVED

I've been writing this exam and I am just tired. Last year I spent 80k, that same last year I spent another 70k. This year somebody is telling me again to spend another 75k.

And my Friend has already written this thing since, he has already passed it. I've been begging him to give me how he did it, he refused to give it to me. And then, I just came to his room and I saw what he did.

I've even gone through the program and I'm so annoyed that he didn't share this thing with me. He was telling me that it goes for 25 thousand naira. I don't know whether I was just being stupid for not buying it for 25k. I have wasted almost 200k instead of buying something for 25k and save so much time and money.

I would have passed this IELTS since rather than wasting money here and there.

Noticed from transcripts posted on here that the white V.O usually comes early and the black V.O starts later, so I decided to go very early even though my appointment was 8:15. I got there by 6:20 but the interview started few minutes to 9.

Me: Before we start, I'd like to say that I'm very nervous and when I'm nervous, my talking is fast and distorted so if you don't hear what I'm saying just tell me to repeat it.
V.O: Don't worry, no reason to be nervous. So why are you going to the United States.

Me: I would be going to continue by undergraduate degree in biology at Edward Waters college in Florida. I started taking classes for the fall semester in Nigeria because of the pandemic and ended with a 4.0 GPA, I have my result with me.
V.O: wow, 4.0, that's great. (Then, Takes a look at my I-20), oh I can see you have a full ride, that's great.

V.O: (looks at me and sees that I'm kind of nervous) no need to be nervous.

V.O: so what will this degree do for you?
Me: I love biology, it's like my favourite subject in high school but most importantly I plan to pursue a career in biomedical research and biology would be a great foundational course for me. Also, this degree would enable me work at the Centre for excellence in reproductive health initiative where my uncle works.

V.O: Good, so where is this place you say your uncle works? Lagos or Abuja?
Me: Benin.

V.O: I intended to issue you your visa, this form contains information on how to pick your passport.

I'm really very happy and I thank everyone on NL. I started this journey in 2018 and I'm glad that God has crowned it with success. I paid MRV four times between November and now. Thankfully all the money I've used since I got admitted from SEVIS to MRV four times to samsung tablet, data and feeding while I was taking online class were external scholarships I got while taking classes this fall. Nothing is too much for God to do at all.

If you interview date is July 3rd 2022 then your statement of account should be from January 2022 to June,

3. Can I use my own account and hubby's account for statement
4. My children are between 17 and 14years can I apply for F1/F2 together with them and hubby?

When we apply for Visa, how do we go about it and how do we sort out the critical issue of home ties and all. We have a 1year plus son.
Also how do we sort out the issue of SOA too.

I need to first let you know that DEM NO DEY RUSH FILL DS160. Get a Visa Date First, Start the filling 1month to the interview day. Do it a section after the other.

And again, L.MAO. Make person come in person for the filling up help? Lol. No nah.
This is 2021, where do put Technology? You can be put through over the Mobile (phone or system). Worst case schedule a zoom or Google meet meetings, but it is not even up to the Case.

Again, there is still time, just get other things (i20, appointment date) set, let ds160 be your last thing to do. Yeah, you can get a visa date before ds160 filling.

When the actual time comes, and you have gotten stuff from the bosses and maybe still need insight on Ds160 filling, you can reach out to be as your LAST option but I no fit come OSHODI FOR YOUR CASE oh. Lol

1. You can. It might look suspicious to the VO like why it’s now you’ve the ‘sudden amount’. You would just easily explain yourself out. It’s sha better than going with a fake SOA.

2. Yeah. If his account balance and flow is heavy. And has a good steady income (job wise). Because the vo would as who your sponsor is/are; and the process of telling them they would know if he or she is capable; even as a dependent.

3. YES

4. Don’t try it. It easily shows that you guys wants to ‘Japa’. They should in school na, at their ages. And they are sure school isn’t on break yet, so why would they want to travel and leave their own school on hold / pause if not to ‘Japa’? Them staying behind and trying to come join later is a huge home tie for you.

5. Trust me, it might not be easy as it didn’t come with your admission. But it all still depends on your school.

Fun Fact: It’s not advisable to go to the embassy without any funding/assistantship form for a PhD student. Not at all. They (VOs) know how ‘hard’ it might be to fund a 5 year’s program in The State. Oh! You can self sponsor yourself? Lol. No be when they even ask you to show your Account Statement to proof your worth.
Again you’re even going with DEPENDENTS. “Even you ‘is yet to balance’ and you wan carry people along; “are you kidding me” “ - Visa Officer.

ADVISE: if you’re not in rush to enter The State, GET YOU A SCHOOL THAT WOULD FUND YOUR Propose PHD program. If your profile isn’t Strong enough; strength it; write GRE/GMAT; publish journals and co; if it’s your school that’s not rich enough; CHANGE school, graduate schools pass 4k for The State.

First, YES to 6 and 7. Infact, those two should be in place ASAP.
Okay. Although a PhD program should come with funding but some schools may have you apply separately. That's, you will have to apply for funding and GA position after securing admission. Talk to your graduate coordinator to find out about that.
1. Moving funds 2 months to generating the statement can be risky but you can try since you can always say it's for your education.
2. You can. It's fine because he has a job and there's nothing wrong if he wants to chip in something into his wife's education.
3. You can use either one if you are applying alone, you can use both if your kids are coming with you or everyone will be coming with you for the interview.
4. Although the kids are still classified as minors and there shouldn't be nothing wrong in that. "There shouldn't be......."

With everything said, you should try as much as possible to work on that funding. Looks like that's the backbone of everything.
