My bru!!! Go read my comments before spewing your nonsense.

I said in general larger countries in terms of population have bigger GDPs, that's a statistical fact as there are more people spending money. This is certainly the case wrt Nigeria and SA since SA has a GDP per capita which is 3 times the size of Nigeria.

You confidently said You will NOT find a country with a similar population size that has an economy smaller than Nigeria. Were you tipsy when you wrote that? Or you thought you were conversing with monkeys?

Now answer this...is the average Nigerian richer than the average Kenyan?

We are not done with your insanity. No more latjie questions for now untill we scrutinize your academic and intelligence credentials and establish you mentally fit for further discussions.

Also FYI im talking GDP ppp since that is considered the more accurate way to compare economies....and Guess what! Pakistan has a larger GDP per capita

Yet another reason we must first assess your academic credentials. How can Paki have a bigger population and a smaller GDP than NIgeria, and end up having a higher Per capita? Is this Laatjinomics or has the pandemic done a number on you?

Attempts by the now-democratic government to wipe away the legacy of apartheid and colonialism have failed to narrow the imbalance between rich and poor, with 3,500 adults owning more than the poorest 32 million people in the country of 60 million, it said in a report released this week.

Still in need of more wicked proof grin grin what were you saying about wealth againnn??

In South Africa, the richest 10% of the population own more than 85% of household wealth, while over half the population have more liabilities than assets, the report showed. That gap is higher than any other country for which sufficient data is available, the group added. The richest 1% in South Africa have likely increased their share of wealth since the end of apartheid, the group said.

Secondly, I quoted jl115 with 2015 figures to debunk his 37.9% rate - which he didn't Back-up with any reliable source.
QM:
With the descending curve.
2005 - 46•8%
2015 - 36•1%

How the hell can the figure pump once again in 2022 to a whopping 37•9% when the curve in those 10 good consecutive yrs has been going down?

Statista, a source that has been countlessly used to prove things here, it has a 2021 poverty rate data at 16%, you can't disregard it.

Had to embolden all the years to save you from sinking deep into the miasma of confusion.

Female chimpanzee AKA baboon, I'm not a dolt discombobulated mongoose like you. I know for a fact that Nigeria's real GDP is $250B at max. There is no way your GDP per capita will be greater than Kenya's unless you cook data - which you've already done.

Even with your pp in correspondence with your GDP, you'll notice that something is not adding up. You have 4 times our GDP, 3 times our population(not 4) but still, we're playing a catch-up game! Should we blame the leaders of that zoo or the poor economic policy?

Morocco can be pardoned because of her tiny pp. But still, we can't overlook the power of her per capita. their per capita speaks a lot of volumes. For a smaller populated country like her outsmarting your imaginary per capita drove from GDP, we can tell which country is doing better.

Bla de bla,Nigeria’s per capita is higher than anything in Kenya.this is not an argument but fact. Now choke on that, and try not to die while at it.

I was talking about Poverty figures but ok wink

FYI that's for 2019....if we use the average growth rate for Kenya over the past 5 years and apply that to 47.5 million as in your source then we are @ 52 million which fyi is very similar to the figure of the World Bank wink

Also the thing i've noticed is once I've e-whooped you, you always resort to racist rhetoric..........be gracious in defeat my bru wink
You jumped into the debate that was not yours, which was talking about population, now see how you're confused!

Yes, we're in 2022, if you've to use that logic, then implement the same on the GDP with a 10% growth rate. Figure it out with $117B more or less.

I just took time to read your article and I can confirm that indeed, it is data sourced from WB report, 2005 -2015 by Kenyan bloggers - then compiled in 2020. Now, that brings us the question; you don't know how to read, or, is comprehension, not your strong point, or you're just an ignorant buffoon?

Not even a deranged can use projected figures to drive a point. The article was written in April 2020 - regurgitating the same content compiled in 2015 by WB, then it has 2020 & 2021 figures, smh?

I'm not a racist, you are. Your racism is in the act, not words. And I can confirm that from your previous quote. cool

I agree with WB 2015 figures of 36%.

This article was written in April 2020.

Read!!

"Nairobi. With growing population and urbanization, the absolute number of people living below the poverty line increased in
urban and north-northeastern counties (NEDI), from 2.3 to 3.8 million and from 2.4 to 3.2 million respectively, whereas it
decreased in rural and non-NEDI counties. Of concern is the fact that the wellbeing of the population in the NEDI counties lags
considerably behind the rest of Kenya. Moreover, these areas have seen little progress between 2005/06 and 2015/16, remain
prone to food insecurity, and present very low levels of educational attainment, access to improved sanitation, and to a lesser
extent, access to improved water. Another important message is that, as Kenya urbanizes, cities are not providing enough
economic opportunities for urban households to improve their income levels and obtain adequate standards of living. Despite a
drop in the growth rate caused by the global COVID-19 pandemic, the international poverty headcount rate is expected to
continue its decline, but only at a moderate rate to 33.1 percent in 2020 and 32.4 percent in 2021. ~ projected ( not real)
The annualized consumption growth for the bottom 40 percent"
