NB pays dividends about twice to thrice in a year.

Usually pay something few days to Christmas
In addition sir, the Sector had serious regulation challenges and are still striving to deliver and survived amidst the tight operating environment.......

An interim dividend of 0.40k was paid amidst all these...
Now, final dividend of N1.20....

In fact, to me, NB is set and positioned for more upward movements.......set to trade above Guinness.
Mr. Time will set the records straight .........copyright Oga OGG. grin

lol at the bolded. You have a point Q on Q, the company returned to profit (1k gain compared to 6k loss). I am looking at the percentage of gain Q on Q on the 9 months which is still huge. Nevertheless, sentiments favours IB to deliver, but all depends on their final year results 2021.

I was expecting a bonus also since its a growing company and it is expected that a 10% increase in outstanding shares wld not negatively impact the future EPS ceteri paribus when examined historically.

But as u said the 1.50 was also a good and pleasant surprise. it is well

......but you'll get at higher price.....
How low do you think they can drag it to again....with this type of wonderful result?

If you plan adding more, you can do that when it pulls back....but don't sell the ones you have.....
It will give you more edge and still make your cost price low.

It's purely normal for NEIMETH to witness a pullback in price.
Frankly, am surprised that someone would want to align with a coy that has already delivered over 575% in actual/real return.
U can not but wonder why they didn't key in when we gave a BUY call here(backed with explicit analysis) @ 38k.
If u couldn't buy then, why now?

The situation can be likened to a man who got an offer alert at 60% discount for a tea drink, holix, from the management of a grocery store where he usually buys provision for his family.
The product which hitherto sold for N1,000 was given out on promotion for just N400, with offer subject to stock availability.
Having doubts, he quickly rushed down to the store to authenticate the notice and verify the genuineness of the product.
But after given it a pass, he still didn't buy but stood there watching other buyers stockpile until it was out of stock... even when he had the fund to buy as many as 10 holix drink.
His reason? The wife is usually the one who determines when is the RIGHT TIME to buy the tea drink. wink cheesy grin

Well, he eventually got home and on that evening Madam demanded for N3,900 been proceed for 3 holix she bought from Spar @ N1,300 each. ...that was the very same holix he could've bought for N400 each.
Oga simply had to refund the money to Madam !! wink cheesy grin

Symbolic meaning;
The store which offered the promo was a platform of opportunity(in this case, NSEMPA)
The product, holix represents NEIMETH.

Moral: Once the thing about due diligence is established and authenticated, there's need to ALWAYS act in TIME !!
Like I always tell folks;
"In finding the right equilibrium between RISK and REWARD(MoS peg with risk-return in view), the PRICE u pay for an asset is EVERYTHING !!"
Remember: Price is what u pay... but VALUE is what u get !!

Those who keyed in early enough and also exited their holding on time understood the importance of the 2 NUGGETs below;

"A period of BULL in the stock market is like an 'unnecessary party', and a BEAR phase like a 'trade-fair'.
The latter is usually when the manufacturer's of great assets auction a few at sumptuous discounts. ...while the former is that time when some 'expired goods' are sold.
A shrewd investor visits both markets, but knows WHEN and WHAT to buy or sell."
~Sinclair

"When the stock market request for 'a drink' from u, give to it but ONLY if its a sound but cheap one.
...and when it offers u 'a drink', take a sip, then drink a bit more but try NOT to get intoxicated.
It's a great way to benefit more from 'him' over TIME."
~Sinclair

Already highlighted these stuffs and more with several analysis in times past.

It's often best to KEY IN once you can perceive the part in italics.
As I've said before now, a N5 peg for IB is a STEAL! ...it's like buying a bottle of Grand Malt for <N30.

Elsewhere, NIG BREWERY is showing a similar characteristics. ...however my chase for value means that I'd be more inclined to assign a higher portfolio weighting in INTER BREWERY than NIG BREWERY.
...perhaps a 65-35% or 60-40% weighting should make sense. (value-driven quest in view)

A stock of N48.70k declaring a dividend of N1.20k in a pre-election year grin

Some people dont know what they have put their hands into.

The kind bear that is loading right now embarassed

People will just wake one morning and be wondering where all the bids went.

Why will they start dumping it? With such a wonderful result. What moved Guinness to #70? Did they declare any dividend? And you are muting dumping for NB that even declared. Are you even sure that Guinness will declared any dividend at the end of its year? Abeg, forget NB can only move up. The best two stocks for that sector, if you are looking at upward movement at this moment are IB and NB

And still talking portfolio weighting, I'll also be more inclined to assign a higher weighting/position in PRESCO than OKOMU given present reality.
...again, a 65-35% or 60-40% weighting should make good sense from a value chase standpoint.

Similarly, I will gladly assign a 70-30% or 75-25% portfolio weighting swapping FBNH for UBA.
However, I will still maintain a slightly higher position in ACCESS ahead of UBA. (max 40% in the later compared to the former)
