thank you for your response.

I really want to try my luck.

Now the question is which one of them (Q-life and IOM) is more friendly? undecided

I did mine at IOM.

Let me continue from where you stopped boss. His mum should send the money to him, he will then transfer it to his wife, by so doing, he will resist the urge to shalaye, source of fund will also be stronger.

Will he need to attached his mom’s Statement of Account?

I am keen on job opportunities while my spouse is studying. Actually, I don't think YouTube videos will be so helpful for me in this regard. We all know how such city will look like. I will prefer advice from someone who is on ground or in BC.
Thanks for your input btw.
mrprolifik:

I am assuming he will be attending College of the Rockies. Just go to YouTube and type in the search box Downtown Cranbrook . British Columbia and you will find a lot of videos of how the city looks like. Make sure to include british Columbia in the search so it doesn't include videos of Cranbrook Uk

Thanks. Also, would it be advisable to use the old ircc portal since it has a limit of 4mb and delete my account from the new portal or has anyone chipped other documents on the consent icon column and gave reasons for it and granted visa
PrinceAdeAde:

Pls use myBank Statement i.e MBS. That elimiates the need to upload scanned files and most banks in Nigeria offer it as a service though you may have to go to a big or head office branch as thier outland branches have no clue they offer the service

Which bank is the statement for?

Hello everyone, I’m really excited to be in this platform. I just got my official Letter Of Acceptance for TRU and will proceed to my visa processing. I’m doing this myself so I want to ask of the minimum amount in naira I can present in the sponsor’s account and the sponsor being my in-law (sister’s husband). Is the relationship ties strong enough?
Also, any advices on how to start the visa application and anything necessary never to skip?
The tuition for one year is 18,000 CAD aside housing and living expenses. It’s a 2 years Post Bacc program. I’m single and will be applying for myself only. Will appreciate answers

Hello nairalanders,

I am new here and truly need advice on how to proceed for an application.
I am currently applying for a post graduate program in Immunology at the
university of Manitoba and have almost completed my application but there
is a section where I have to get professor to support my application in terms
of being my supervisor. I have gone through the staff page and seen various
research interest of the different staff and have mailed few as to why I am interested
in their research field but no response. I have mailed the department of post graduate
studies and got a reply that it is my responsibility to get a sponsor for my department of
interest giving me a link of the staffs in the department of immunology. I have done the
best I know and am seeking guidance or directive from you guys to achieve this feat. Thank you.

Okay bro, I can understand this because I’ve been there and most of these professors won’t reply you or they’ll reply saying there’s no vacancy for new students. Now you can check out their research topics and mail them, talk briefly on their research topics and tell them how you really want to help in their research and them helping you achieve that too. You can also include your own research interests still within the field of their research topics. Just go straight to the point and not a long mail. Good luck!!

Well I think it was 3-4 weeks for the conditional letter of acceptance. Took 24 hours after tuition deposit confirmation to get the main Letter of Acceptance.

In addition to what has been advised, try to read one of the recent papers of the professor you are interested in, and make reference to the paper. You can get an idea of future works in the paper.

This gives the impression that you can understand a research paper and that you are not just emailing profs randomly.

You can also send me a sample of your email. I can review it and offer guidance (for free).

Eligibility review is a journey. It's different journey for different people. Decision might come early either approval or refusal and it can wait for months. Just keep praying

For upfront medicals you must book an appointment date. They will attend to you if you get medicals request by IRCC. But you can try walking in as everyone has different levels of grace...

JOSHCANADA:
No one has answered me on this question below.. please I'm desperate cry

Gurus in the house please help!

I want to do upfront medical but Q-life website says fully booked in this month and March. cry

Can I walk in to the clinic without appointment and do the medical test in Q-life or IOM?

Looking forward to your responses.
