Amongst developing nations? Maybe but developed nations? No way! Rather loads of jobs would be created.

Amongst developed nations, new technology brings about loads of jobs for men unlike developing nations.

It'll shock you to hear about the functionalities of "Royal mail" here in England, despite the likes of DPD, UPS, DHL etc. with their smart system. How far with NIPOST That's developing nation(s) for you. Always quick to jump to the latest technology, leaving behind the one already in place and loads of jobs being created by it.

Most people think technological advancement will bring unemployment where as that's not the case , the world has past that stage , infact it will create more jobs , it just takes off the crude jobs and convert it to more sophisticated jobs . That's how human society has always worked . If not trade by barter will still be in existence . We can't be luddites
I like how south-westerners are more self aware .

very good observations and very good question.. your mind is brilliant the most sensible comment on here. And I add who will repair the robot when it breaks or needs repairing. Who made the food?

Wow! A nice Advancement in technology.

Man will always survive.
.Elun Musk in 2018 said, "governments will have to put people on basic income because robots will take up most jobs". There're two parts to that statement, 1. robots are already capable of doing more task and are taking more regular jobs, this is only going to increase in the next few years, but on the other hand, how many countries are capable of paying citizens for doing little or nothing, especially with the increase in population. Humanity is at a tilting point, survival is vital and we need to start planning how to handle that inevitable time when robots takeup lots of jobs. Our educational curriculum also has to improve and be able to deliver on what the future demands.

No mind them, when that shit robot parks up where will they repair it? it will turn into another scrap that cannot be fixed in nigeria. Common electricity is not available yet they jump straight to robotic food waiter something England, Germany, China, America don't even surscribe to. in America the waiting economy is one of the largest some waiter pay their rent from just tips.

Nigeria that imports oil even though the whole of nigeria lands runs oil. Nigeria there are alot of coal and cocoa that needs extracting through vast employment and turned into income. Chocolates, coffee generates vast income.

Guy, have you ever thought who manufatures all the buttons and zips on every shirt and trousers people wear. Yes! i bet you have never thought about it, just like all the other 1 billion people.. well.. only one company manufactures buttons and zips in the whole world and the company is worth billions...

Go back to that restuarant in 2 months you wouldn't see that robot anymore, they would say it broke and we are waiting for it to be fixed.

Robots can farm, so we don't need to farm, they can also harvest, we could mostly supervise and plan.

There are also plans to colonize other planets, part of the survive the death of the sun. To survive the eventual death of a sun, there is a need to traverse the solar system or milky way.

Smart people will delve more into technology and programming that would aid in software advancement and upgrades of these robots

And what if robots become programmers themselves?

Not all technology leads or will lead to massive job creation.

Technology like artificial intelligence are a threat to many jobs.

She forget say na still human dey build robot
Research and engineer everything

Human will still survive
Nature and skills involved in work might change over time

But once a job placement is being enroached on side

Another is being created

You could say engineer , data scientist and programmers will be much more needed that before in the coming years

The advancement in the world will Force lazy Africans, to situp by force, because it will be scary if we don't.

If Nigerians want to become powerless and perfect slaves, they can continue in their state of ease, but i am sure other Africans will rise to the challenge. wink wink kiss kiss

we have brains, but the ones who love stone age living, don't want to stress their brains, they believe continuing with the easy way will be sustainable forever.

Anyway, i believe there is God, and that God is coming back soon, so at least there is hope. Thank you Jesus.

At least lets encourage the sciences and tech, innovations, before we become toasted literally.
