I will not mention the department but back then in FUTA, almost all the lecturers have animal nickname and if u truly look at their faces they resemble their nick names. we have;

Ostrich
Vulture
Python
etc. i will update if i remember some other names, may God forgive students.

One of my clasdmates was called "scotched egg" cos his head really looks like that. In secondary school we have one we called "golgi body" but the guy don fine now sha since he be nurse for yankee and now a big boy

so back in the days....my school no dey hear word at all (BMGS Adazi.....in Anambra)

So there's this teacher that always do gra gra........ flogs niggrrs like mad.
Upon everything sef told us to be calling him "sir smooth".
omo we all dey vex for him.
so because he has beards like a goat ......we began calling him "ịbụ ewu"...... You are a goat.....(he's not Igbo so don't know the meaning)


He will be teaching us in class ( physics)......and after teaching and ask...... hope you guys understand it, we all will shout....."ịbụ ewu". And the mumu will be smiling.


But gosh the day he noticed the meaning........the punishment no be here

We ended up calling him Mr.Brown.

being a nonentity didn't just start today for me, during my primary school days at Tai solarin staff school I was privilege or rather unfortunate to attend a party with my teachers, then in a bid to show some of my attention seeking tactics I decided to meet my older comrades that accompanied me to the party and take a sip of 33 alcohol as i was sipping it I got the attention of my teachers as I wanted, only to get to school the following Monday and the teacher narrated my story to the whole class and he gave me the name 33 I had numerous other names too as the nonentity of the school. Adedayo iyanu ogunyemi aka Dbull, Tai solarin school will never forget you

I just finished my Nysc service on 17 Feb 2022. Served in a mixed school, I asked a student secretly to tell me the name given to me by her fellow students and she said non.

I asked her of my colleagues and she mention two;
1. Corper Omo ( a Yoruba from Lag)
2. Corper akwai buran-uba yau.
